This is the homepage from a live website i created for a local band - maintaining the banner photo, logo and left hand column for continuity throughout the layout and appearance. I also added the appropriate social network links.

This was created using iWeb in Spring 2012

Description: I chose Peter Lindbergh for the focus on skin and texture details, as well as the depth of field contrasts to highlight the subject. I am presenting them in Black and white to carry the style, all my images are full on direct portraits using natural and available light.

I tried to recreate the t-shirts logo with his head.

This is an example of the aquitard layer below a well developed plinthic B horizon of a coastal plain soil containing elongated macropores or tubes. The tube or channel is thought to be initially formed by biological activity at a time when the sediments were being deposited. In the current environment, they commonly contain coarse roots within elongated macropores. The macropores may be completed filled with soil material or they be open (areas that once contained live roots, but are currently void of roots due to decomposition), allowing for the transmission of air and water within the channel.

This tube has been encased or surrounded by cemented iron or iron-manganese enriched soil (the darker red zone). These materials meet the criteria as defined for plinthite.

Plinthite normally forms in a horizon below the surface, but it may form at the surface in a seepy area at the base of a slope. From a genetic viewpoint, plinthite forms by the segregation, transport, and concentration of iron. In many places iron may have been transported vertically or horizontally from other horizons or from higher adjacent soils. Plinthite may occur as a constituent of a number of horizons, such as an epipedon, a cambic horizon, an argillic horizon, a kandic horizon, an oxic horizon, or a C horizon. Generally, plinthite forms in a horizon that is (or has been) periodically saturated with water. Initially, the segregated iron forms more or less clayey, reddish, or brownish redox concentrations.

This is a completed example of my flying car. Apart from cropping the car from a great pic off a good website, i only used the smudging tool to get the rest of the image to work lol :)
