The Experimental Prototype of Project Golem #052019 (EPPG #052019) is an evolving concept developed by Studio NOWHERE. Based off of one of the Studio’s early research projects (Project Golem) , the EPPG began with the investigation into a structure of a mechanical limb, using pneumatic devices and studio-made air muscles to convey the power of a football kicking movement for which the studio experimented with different designs from pneumatic structures to biomorphic mechanism.
In order to create a dynamic and immersive experience, the EPPG #052019 has been taken to the next level by integrating a surround sound system. From the audience’s auditory perception, the sound system virtually expands the space into a size of football field. The audience will fully believe they are cheering onto footballers during a game, hearing sounds from this that are perfectly synchronized with the movements of the installation.

this type of disc was only released in Japan & was the last of the XG types produced, before they brought out the XA type. The rigid plastic case holds 6 discs, the centre 2 being held in slots from the spine in the middle. A neat concept.
From Turtle Rock Studios, creators of Left 4 Dead, comes Evolve, the next-generation of multiplayer shooters where four hunters face off against a single, player-controlled monster in adrenaline-pumping 4v1 matches. Play as the monster to use savage abilities and an animalistic sense to kill your human enemies, or choose one of four hunter classes (Trapper, Support, Assault and Medic) and team up to take down the beast on the planet Shear, where flora and fauna act as an adversary to man and monster alike. Level up to unlock new hunter or monster characters as well as upgrades, skins and perks. Earn your infamy on the leaderboards and become the apex predator.
Added a dirt drop stem I've had for a while. Bars are really cranked up there, which works much better off road. It's a good position which feels similar to riding flats just a little below the saddle, but with the hands more neutral. I ride the drops most of the time now.
That's my old banana bag. It carries my u-lock.

The following information about the Keen Classification system is excerpted from Wickman, Boyd E. 2005. Harry E. Burke and John M. Miller, pioneers in Western forest entomology. Gen. Tech. Rep. PNW-GTR-638. Portland, OR: U.S. Department of Agriculture, Forest Service, Pacific Northwest Research Station. 163 p.:
"Keen’s research on tree classification continued in Oregon and was called the “Keen Ponderosa Pine Tree Classification.” The Salman-Bongberg approach was called the “California Pine Risk-Rating System.” Both systems evolved from research on tree susceptibility to bark beetle attack that had been conducted in the 1920s by Miller, Keen, Patterson, Person, and Struble. Tree growth rates were a particularly important area of the studies, with Miller and Person proposing that slower growing mature ponderosa pine were more susceptible to attack by the western pine beetle than younger more vigorous trees (Smith et al. 1981).
The rating systems resulted in a silvicultural approach to managing the western pine beetle instead of the direct control method of felling infested trees, then peeling and burning the bark. This was a breakthrough for forest managers that allowed them to capture the economic value of susceptible trees before they were killed by bark beetles, and at the same time resulted in decreased beetle populations or at least seemed to prevent outbreaks. The Salman- Bongberg California risk-rating system identified susceptible trees by assigning penalty points to crown and stem characteristics of a tree. This was followed up by a logging practice called sanitation salvage (Smith et al. 1981). The Keen system, involved four classes based on age and four vigor classes within each age class. It was oriented more toward identifying the susceptibility of individual trees to insect attack. Keen also assigned penalty points in his system. It was slightly more complex to use and was not directly tied to the sanitation salvage concept, but a certain level of logging of susceptible trees was generally followed. Keen’s classification was more widely used in ponderosa pine stands of eastern Oregon, and the California system was used for both ponderosa pine and Jeffrey pine stands in eastern California."

All I can really say is that this show was bigger and better than I had ever hoped for. Evolve took on a life of its own and so many of the artists shared their own powerful stories of overcoming whatever life has tossed along their path.
Over 20 photographers, ceramicists and artists were part of this event. Gay, straight, lesbian, bi-sexual, transgender, Black Latino, White, Armenian, poor, broke, rich, wealthy, HIV positive, HIV negative and even two homeless individuals were all artists in this show. The was a direct representation of what Los Angeles looks like and together we showed why we are the City of Angels
About 400 attended the opening at Art Share-LA in Downtown Los Angeles. The event was a complete success with people coming from as far north as Sacramento as far south as San Diego. New York, Denver and even two folks from Atlanta made the trek to the Evolve opening. I was completely blown away.
Big thanks to all the artists for their beautiful pieces, my family, friends and supporters for continuing to embrace my work through Project KengiKat and Do Something Saturday and to everyone who donated and attended the event I want to say THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart.
The Thomas Jefferson Religious Freedom Monument is at the intersection of Washington Avenue and Pitt Street in the historic District of Fredericksburg.
This plaque is titled 'Religious Liberty'. It reads:
"From a meeting in Fredericksburg, January 13-17, 1777, of a Committee of Revisors appointed by the General Assembly of Virginia, composed by Thomas Jefferson, George Mason, Edmund Pendleton, GeorgeWythe and Thomas Ludwell Lee to "Settle the Plam of Operation and to Distribute the Work" - Evolved.
THE STATUTE OF RELIGIOUS FREEDOM Authored By THOMAS JEFFERSON,
In this document The United States of America mase probably its freatest contribution to government recognition of religious freedom."

Built during the reign of King Henry VIII, Walmer Castle is one of the most fascinating visitor attractions in the South East. Originally designed as part of a chain of coastal artillery defences it evolved into the official residence of the Lord Warden of the Cinque Ports. The Duke of Wellington held the post for 23 years and enjoyed his time spent at the castle and in recent years Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother made regular visits to the castle.
The armchair in which Wellington died and an original pair of 'Wellington boots' along with some of the rooms used by the Queen Mother are among the highlights. And with the magnificent gardens, a woodland walk and some excellent bird spotting there's something for everyone to enjoy. There is also a pleasant cycle path along the beach front to nearby Deal Castle.
