We shouldn't allow natural sciences to become a tool for religious objectives; nor should evolutionary theory become a dumping grounds for pseudo-scientific sociological guesswork about the origin and persistence of religion. Evolutionary tattoos allow for common ground to create a subgroup within the main group. This tattoo creates social conflict among Christians because it is displaying both evolution and Christianity.

With the ENB. I kinda prefer it without - I like the golden glow and softer tones. I'm running in DX11 though, and apparently the ENB guy said he'll never release an ENB for DX11 DE:HR because it'll pretty much look the same.
Near the base of the tree Darwin drew a split between lemurs on one side and other primates (generally anthropoids, being monkeys and apes) on the other. The anthropoid side of the split gave rise to three branches; the Old World monkeys, the New World monkeys, and a motley assemblage of apes and a few cercopithecoids. This latter branch, in turn, produced three new branches.
The first branch on the right consists of langurs, macaques, and baboons, or cercopithecid primates that are considered "Old World" monkeys today. It should be remarked, however, that langurs, baboons, and macaques have traditionally been used as behavior or functional models for certain aspects of human evolution, from infanticide (Hrdy's work with langurs) to Jolly's infamous "seed-eaters" hypothesis. They have often been considered the most human-like of the monkeys, so much so that at times some have preferred them over apes for models of human evolution.
The middle group consists of almost all the living apes. From right to left they are gibbons, orangutans, and chimpanzees + gorillas. Looking at this we see that all these apes are more closely related to each other than any are to the only ape not included among their ranks, Homo sapiens. Indeed, Darwin places humans all the way on the left on a branch that meets with that containing the apes, just above where the common ancestor between apes and the baboons, &c, would lie. Zadok Ben-David (born 1949) is an Israeli artist who was born in Beihan, Yemen. He immigrated to Israel and studied at Bezalel Academy of Art and Design from 1971 to 1973. He continued his studies at University of Reading and the Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London, where he taught sculpture for a few years. He currently lives in London.

Evolution - Let there be Light. Licht, veel licht was er zeker! Wat een mooie licht- en lasershow. Dat maakt het werk voor partyfotografen leuk en uitdagend :) Behalve mooi licht, werd er ook nog eens top gedraaid. Held van de avond voor mij was toch zeker wel Markus Schulz. Het was voor mij wel even wennen de weg die Tiesto in slaat. Je kunt het mooi vinden of niet, hij blijft zichzelf vernieuwen. Dat was aan de set bij Evolution ook goed te horen. En dat is zeker knap als je al zolang meegaat als Tijs. Al met al een topweekend, met eerst Reloaded..... Dance into the Future en daarna Evolution - Let there be Light. Thx. Radio 538 voor de uitstekende organisatie. Hopelijk krijgt dit initiatief een vervolg volgend jaar.

Queria TANTO esse esmalte e acabei encontrando! Faz um tempinho já, mas nem vi os outros da coleção ao vivo. Só pediram esse e o prateado na loja, acho. Hahaha! Tudo incompleto!
Estou virando a louca dos verdes, quando penso em qual esmalte usar, sempre me vem um verde na cabeça. Adorei esse, mas é meio "pinheirinho de Natal" demais. Achei digno mesmo assim.
Aaaaaaah, o que mais gostei é que a textura é mais Impala Gloss do que realmente cromo. Não fica aquela coisa grossa e cheia de marcas do pincel.

Evolution comes at a cost!
This drink was way over priced! I purchased it from Starbucks so what else was I expecting right? This drink is suppose to be 100% juice. I'm sure it is but why package 100% juice and claim that it's fresh. Six dollars for this small drink. I could have gone to a juice bar and purchased a juice that is truly fresh and well-worth my six dollars. From now on I'm sticking to coffee when I visit Starbucks.
I'm sorry for this rant. Anyway, this goes out to my pal Dennis. He's been juicing lately and came into work this morning with a green juice. Today is also his birthday. Happy birthday Dennis!

The Wall Street Journal article, through which the Morse’s publicized their wish of donating their vast Dali collection – free of charge – to anyone who could meet certain conditions of this colossal gift, caught the eye of some movers and shakers in, of all places, St. Petersburg, Florida.
This is not to criticize St. Pete. But it was no secret that it had the reputation of being a town heavily populated with elderly retirees, and not exactly known for its cultural superiority. Some might have called it “sleepy.” But things there were about to be reawakened in a very big way!
A team of astute, forward-thinking professionals – attorneys, city politicians and others who had a vision and dreamed big – made their case to the Morse’s. They showed vision, gumption, passion. And, of course, they had a practical plan – including the ability to tap a vacant bayside warehouse in Pinellas County that would seem to make an ideal space in which to hang the nearly 90 original Dali paintings, and the many prints and drawings and works in other mediums, owned by the Morse’s. These fascinating works were now up for grabs to anyone who could meet their owner’s conditions.
It all, of course, took, of course, a confluence of efforts at various levels of government and various sectors of the business community in St. Petersburg to pull it off. But pull it off they did. When the i’s were dotted and the t’s crossed, St. Petersburg, Florida, became the new, permanent home of America’s Salvador Dali Museum. The museum was officially opened on March 7, 1982, at 1000 Third Street South. Sadly, Mr. Dali was in failing health and couldn’t attend the inauguration.
But many dignitaries did, including Capt. Pete Moore, Dali’s first secretary and a bit of a legend in his own right. The new Dali Museum was now a permanent fixture in the sunshine state and along the developing cultural landscape of the Tampa/St. Pete area. And its operation was far more sophisticated and complex than its former one-room version, back in Beachwood. One of its new missions was to acquire a major new Dali oil. A campaign was launched to raise some matching funds. It would turn out that the museum’s newest masterpiece was the one with the longest one-word title of any Dali work, acquired in 1992.
