An update of my previous controller evolution, now with the Wii U controller. I plan on remaking the animation as well.
I recently had an angry shop keeper incident in Val Thorens, French Alps.
I was on the public road looking in the window looking at the amusing sweatshirt designs and toying with the idea of buying one.
This one appealed to me as a snowboarder, although if I designed it I would insert an extra step before the boarder... A Skier :-) Or maybe the skier would go as stage 3... :o)
I decided to take a snap with my phone camera to show some of my friends who hadn't seen the shop... The shop keeper got rather irate and banged on the window shouting something or other.
Unfortunately my French is not up to having an argument, or pointing out that I was on a public street (or the irony that some of the same shirts were shown on fliers pinned all over the town).
He did however lose sales as I didn't bother going in, and neither did any of my friends I told later.
Sorry about the image quality, it's only a little phone camera, all be it a pretty good one. I only uploaded it onto Flickr to share in the photography is not a crime group.
I have grown to like the idea that dinosaurs may have had feathers. I know that this bothers a lot of people my age. Anyway I kept the scales here and just gave my little t-rex some wings.
Lopburi, Thailand. The monkeys live in and amongst the locals in this ancient Thai town, which really has to be seen to be believed. I put my water down to change my camera lens and before I knew it the monkey above had walked off with my water, removed the cap and proceeded to drink it!
A passing local informed me that the monkeys have learn't to prefer bottled water as it is cleaner that the tap water in the town. A fine case of urban evolution!
Modernity is the autonomous quest of man to master and fully understand the universe and live comfortably within it due to such understanding and mastery.

Evolution - Let there be Light. Licht, veel licht was er zeker! Wat een mooie licht- en lasershow. Dat maakt het werk voor partyfotografen leuk en uitdagend :) Behalve mooi licht, werd er ook nog eens top gedraaid. Held van de avond voor mij was toch zeker wel Markus Schulz. Het was voor mij wel even wennen de weg die Tiesto in slaat. Je kunt het mooi vinden of niet, hij blijft zichzelf vernieuwen. Dat was aan de set bij Evolution ook goed te horen. En dat is zeker knap als je al zolang meegaat als Tijs. Al met al een topweekend, met eerst Reloaded..... Dance into the Future en daarna Evolution - Let there be Light. Thx. Radio 538 voor de uitstekende organisatie. Hopelijk krijgt dit initiatief een vervolg volgend jaar.
