Shot at Kumortuli Artisan's Den, Kolkata. I saw this artisan busy with his work with the sculpture of "Asura" (Demon) lurking in from the shadows as if within the inner self of the man. The pointed hand above the demon's head almost like a warning seems to indicate that fact more evidently.
We all have some evil lurking inside our own existence, who sometimes takes control and sometimes we overpower it.

Got the Minions set (#75551) as a present for my birthday in summer and wanted to be able to build all 3 minions at the same time.
One thing led to another: I bought myself a second copy of the set, had so much fun and there were enough parts left to start to build another minion. So, here's Stuarts friend Dave, of course with a banana.
On the inside is a little kitchen so Dave can make cupcakes and ice cream.
I also wanted to build an evil minion. On the inside there's just a thick jungle and it looks like there's nobody in control.
My husband made me some custom stickers for the purple eye.

It will indubitably surprise some people to hear me say this, but Mr. Brown Pelican's feral compeers exert themselves to muddy the water, obfuscate the record, and cover up, by sophistries and denials, all of Mr. Pelican's mudslinging contretemps. Perhaps before going on, I should describe Mr. Pelican to you. Mr. Pelican is frowzy, passive-aggressive, and snippy. Furthermore, he yearns to create a beachhead for organized separatism. He favors conquest not only by violence but also by the peaceful and delicate methods of cheating and lying.
I plan to work within the system to persuade my fellow citizens that Mr. Pelican makes no sense at all, not because I lack the courage for more drastic steps but because Mr. Pelican's attempts to use organized violence to suppress opposition are much worse than mere Bonapartism. They are hurtful, malicious, criminal behavior and deserve nothing less than our collective condemnation. I clearly cannot emphasize enough how much I resent his quips. For your edification, I should truly point out that on several occasions I have heard him state that the health effects of secondhand smoke are negligible. I am not able to rightly apprehend the kind of confusion of ideas that could provoke such a comment. What I consider far more important though is that when all discoverable facts and experience fly in the face of Mr. Pelican's shabby world view, Mr. Pelican stubbornly holds onto his ignorance as his birthright.

Evil Emperor Zurg from Toy Story, is etched into a giant wooden play block as seen in the Pixar Pals Countdown to Fun parade at Disney's Hollywood Studios. I played around with the color hues to give Zurg the purple color to make the image more Zurg-like.

This is Stripe giving me the evil eye. She is one of our feral cats that 's never become friendly, and that's her son, Mini Milo (He looks just like our Milo, his father). They were just coming out of the woods, where they live, to get their breakfast. She wasn't too happy to find me standing in the way with a camera!
Usually I can't get close to Stripe at all, and if I do, she'll flatten her ears and growl like a mountain lion. So I guess she actually looks kind of friendly in this shot, considering how she normally reacts to me.

This is a night scene of the Grand Canal taken from the Ponte degli Scalzi. The mask is one of the typical ones sold by the tourist shops all over the city. The musical score is a piece by Antonia Vivaldi, who was boirn in Venice. The model wearning the mask? Just check the dark alley's in the city; that is where I found her lurking about....
My birthday is only next month, but today my gift has arrived!

Sometimes I feel like the words of evil are just a smoke. When this smoke comes into your throat, into your heart, it burns and bites. But worse, it can nest and grow in you and then...every time you speak the smoke comes out of your mouth.

The evil eye is a look that is believed by many cultures to be able to cause injury or bad luck for the person at whom it is directed for reasons of envy or dislike. The term also refers to the power attributed to certain persons of inflicting injury or bad luck by such an envious or ill-wishing look.
The "evil eye" is also known as ʿayn al-ḥasūd (عين الحسود) and mal de ojo
The idea expressed by the term causes many cultures to pursue protective measures against it. The concept and its significance vary widely among different cultures, primarily the Middle East. The idea appears several times in translations (Tirgumim) of the Old Testament. It was a widely extended belief among many Mediterranean tribes and cultures: It started in Classical Greece and later passed to ancient Rome.
In some forms, it is the belief that some people can bestow a curse on victims by the malevolent gaze of their magical eye. The most common form, however, attributes the cause to envy, with the envious person casting the evil eye doing so unintentionally. Also the effects on victims vary. Some cultures report afflictions with bad luck; others believe the evil eye may cause disease, wasting, or even death. In most cultures, the primary victims are thought to be babies and young children, because they are so often praised and commented upon by strangers or by childless women. The late UC Berkeley professor of folklore Alan Dundes has explored the beliefs of many cultures and found a commonality—that the evil caused by the gaze is specifically connected to symptoms of drying, desiccation, withering, and dehydration, that its cure is related to moistness, and that the immunity from the evil eye that fish have in some cultures is related to the fact that they are always wet. His essay "Wet and Dry: The Evil Eye" is a standard text on the subject.
In many beliefs, a person—otherwise not malefic in any way—can harm adults, children, livestock or possessions, simply by looking at them with envy. The word "evil" is somewhat misleading in this context, because it suggests an intentional "curse" on the victim. A better understanding of the term "evil eye" can be gained from the old English word for casting the evil eye, namely "overlooking", implying that the gaze has remained focused on the coveted object, person, or animal for too long.
Once more, Marilyn Manson and Rob Zombie have announced that they will partner up for another explosive co-headlining tour.
The third rendition of the Twins of Evil tour — Hell Never Dies — will stop in 24 North American cities this summer.
The shock-rockers first got together in 2012, and once more in 2018 for the hugely successful The Second Coming tour.
During their six-week run, the bands will stop in Canada for six individual shows, including Vancouver, Saskatoon and Winnipeg.
