The integrated tug/barge unit is owned by McAsphalt Marine Transportation Ltd. and is used for shipping heated liquid asphalt products on the Great Lakes.
The Norman McLeod was built in China in 2002. The pusher tug Everlast was built in Japan in 1976 as the Bilibino and operated as an ocean tug for log barges in the Russian far east before being purchased by McAsphalt in 1999 and renamed the Everlast.
I am specially proud of these clicks. They were my first in fashion and happened 4 days after my Dad's sudden death. I was still in shock, sick, had barely slept, my assistant could not go. They couldn't tell... I did my thing. I thought of him so much. I know the models liked the clicks, so did the client, everybody did.
I dedicate it to my Father, forever missed and loved.

Like most photographers and directors, whenever there isn’t something major going on I either continue with an existing project or I become inspired to start a new one. I saw a shot a few weeks ago that inherently made me think, “I can do better than that!”
(That’s 49% Cocky and 51% confidence. Remember…there’s a fine line there…lol. You have to know which side of the line to stay on!)
So I took the general idea of the image that I saw and bundled it with a couple of other concepts that were rolling around in my head and decided to put together the “Boxing” project. Like most it’ll be an ongoing project that gets updated as new images are shot. I’ve shot a few already and thus far I’m VERY pleased. After shooting this first shot I realized that women boxers REALLY look like they can kick some A#@! I wouldn’t want to mess with her!
