For the most part this rig works well but there are various problems that I have left unresolved. I have taken the time to build extra attributes into the foot and hand controls to allow for easier animating.I have created a switch that will allow my arm controls to move either independently or follow my main rig control depending on my needs. I have also built a control for the eyes so I can easily move between the different blendshapes. As my character had a moustache and a hankerchief I have had to make some extra bones and controls to allow me to animate them. For the hankerchief I used the IK spline and I used bones for the moustache but this would probably have been better had I used the IK spline. Most of my problems are in the shoulders and thumbs of the character. The movement in these areas is not too good and I believe this is due to the placement of the joints.There are still issues with some IK popping in the arms as well as the spine not fully working when rotated backwards. Taking the clip I am animating from into account I do not feel these issues will cause me too many problems. For the arm IK I am using the pole vector to offset the popping and my character will not be in any kind of extreme backwards poses for the spine to be an issue with the final animation.
