The character I used is from a book which shows readers how to draw 2D superhero cartoons, The idea came to me when I researched some famous quotes and when I heard silence of the lambs, I immediately thought of the superhero I saw in the book and thought it would be funny and completely different to the actual scene in the film. In the animation there are a lot of mistakes I did but Because I spent a lot of time modelling the character there was only a small amount of time left for texturing and animating. The animation itself could have been better, I could have added some more eye movement like making eyelids and eyebrows, the lip sync was really good because of the timing and accuracy of the blendshapes. The body movement could have been much better, the left arm somehow connected to the blendshapes and moved, this I believe is because instead of duplicating just the head, I duplicated the whole model and the arms were in different positions. Because of this problem I couldn't stick to my storyboard so I decided to use the right arm and put it over his mouth so it looks like he's hiding something and waved at the camera. You can see some head movement to show that he's hiding something.

If I had the chance to work on the same project again I would not make the mistake of duplicating the whole body when using blendshapes because I believe that was the main problem which stopped me from animating the character fully. I would also add some eyelids to the model to make it look more realistic and make a full scene behind the character instead of adding an image behind him so it looks more professional. Although the animation wasn't completed to its full potential I am still happy with the outcome because you can clearly see what the character is trying to act out.
