Alright, here’s how we stand. No bus purchases till the EV mandate garbage gets solved with the state as shown in the final bullet. We already have a majority under age 8 fleet (25 out of 37 units) with the remainder being from age 9-12 with two older 07 C2s as well which is slim. The number of drivers combined stands at 43 with recruiting continuing to be active. We are healthy as it stands now. Attendants are short staffed and currently have some coming in via temp agency to help until we get back to a proper number (35 and currently have only 19…). Indirectly, it does sound like the lone CE electric may show up but not certain, clearly stated it would be for route use only and nothing else to prevent risks etc. Costs for Special Ed contracted runs are as much as $10K a month for just one daily round trip for a single student most heavily in need which is definitely a burden when you add all the other clients together . Despite all this, the supervisor has basically ran a golden standard since COVID and I’ve gotta give her credit… Even a small number of contracted drivers who have come to work for us are shocked by our fleet condition which has definitely improved massively. Nothing but positive comments regarding smooth sailing units that run nice and DOT passage rates well over 95%. Also plenty of phone calls from other districts looking into advice for their own operations so they can make it as good as ours LOL ! Overall, while disappointing to see no purchases again, we’re in a fairly good spot for now and it is completely understandable. Investments into dashcams for the buses along with camera system upgrades and new software that can track everything and provide instant contact with the press of button on a computer is just simply put, mind blowing and futuristic. Lastly, A new Assistant Supervisor will also be joining next year as the current one retires after 20 years . Kudos to everyone for running the tight ship here and keeping it as smooth and magically golden touch !

Safranbolu evlerinin Osmanlı döneminde yumurta akından yapıldığı ve çok uzun süre depreme dayandığı rivayet edilir. Bu evlerin bir depreme dayanma özelliği de toprağın dibine yapılmamasıdır. Safranbolu evleri birbirinin önünü kapatmaz.
