Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa joined LADWP General Manager Ronald O. Nichols (left), along with representatives of environmental groups, to announce a new EV Home Charger Rebate Program--Charge Up L.A.! on April 21, 2011. LADWP will begin offering the rebates on May 1, 2011 for up to $2,000 toward the cost of EV home charger plus installation.
