Pins D8 & D9 are currently free on the Arduino, they should be used for adding a button, and a relay, or possibly PWM control of the LCD backlight (from D9), and the Relay on D8, and then put the Button, and other inputs onto the Analog pins (currently unused)
This is a mostly patched box. I have AT&T coming in to the phone block and it goes to the DSL filter/splitter on the right by the green wire. I have my DSL modem patched directly there and my alarm and fax machine jacks will connect to the filtered output so that no DSL filters will be needed around the house. The other jacks in the apartment are jumped together and are fed by my Vonage VOIP box so that all my phone jacks in the apartment are using VOIP and not AT&T. Pretty sweet no?
On the ethernet block I have some patches from the office and living room to a gigabit switch so that media streaming from the media servers to the PS3 can handle HD without an issue. I will eventually connect up my bedroom as well so that I can watch HULU and junk on my TV's throughout the house.
1. Borrow wireless-ethernet bridge from front desk (black thing on floor)
2. Discover it has a USB plug for power
3. Connect ethernet and USB to AirPort Express
4. Hope it works
5. Discover it does, sign in using the web interface

Early this morning another AT&T guy came over to the house to fix the hard wire ethernet issues we couldn't solve the other day. As it turns out, the first guy, adorable as he was, managed to knick the cable multiple times as he ran it around the front of the house. As a result, New Guy had to rerun the cable. This time, he was successful! He also happened to be an AT&T replica of Brad Reed. It was weird.
Later on Emily potted some plants while her mom and I watched. She looked pretty adorable sitting in the grass with her plants, but I'm shocked she didn't end up with a shortload of bugs.
OH I should mention: We had to run to Home Depot, and on the way there we passed that burger place again. There were a TON of classic "domestic" cars parked there with dudes hanging around talking. I turned around and pulled into the lot to see if there were any other Teslas. Nope. And the crowd didn't seem exactly like a group I'd get along with very well. That said, a couple of dudes did ask me about the car and tell me about how it's a good lookin' ride. I think they just liked it cuz they were in electric wheelchairs. #fistbump
Finally, tonight we--well, mostly Emily's mom--made us some CoolWhip cookies. Basically you mix CoolWhip and cake mix, scoop it up, drag it through some powdered sugar, and bake. BOOM. Easy and delicious.
