Lavender is a very popular plant, but with so many visitors the amount of nectar available per lavender flower is miniscule; an estimation: it would take a bee 1 week and 300,000 flower visits to collect just 1 teaspoon of lavender nectar, with such small rewards on offer, the faster-handling bumblebees can do much better than honey bees on lavender

Students in Michelle Hurley's Forensic Science classes made use of indoor and outdoor locations to complete forensic anthropolgy labs involving an estimation of a lab partners stature by meausuring long bones such as the femur, tibia, humerus and radius, and multiplying these measurements with formulas to estimate height. Buenos Aires is a HUGE city! In my estimation it must be about the size of New York, if not even bigger. I took this photo from inside a LAN Argentina A320 departing Aeroparque Jorge Newbery for San Carlos de Bariloche, a few moments after take-off.
Butternut squash can be rather bland, in my estimation. Richard says that the best way to cook it is by roasting in the oven, the chunks just spread out on an oiled cookie sheet. Notice that the color intensifies, along with the sweet, earthy flavor. (I was going to say "nutty" flavor...which for food is a slightly overused adjective, I think.)

Bus ride from Luang Prang to Vientiane. Don't think anyone of the passengers is a really "very important person" in literal sense by any standard.
This is the stairway on the back side of Washington Hall at the Univeristy of Notre Dame as photographed during a snow storm.
Photographed with the Canon III rangefinder and the NIkon 5 cm f/2 lens. Exposed in brackets of about 400, 800, 1600 based on suny 16 estimation. Developed in Diafine.This is the EI 800 shot. In general, I found that EI 800 worked the best for this film and developer combination.

Didn't set the camera format to panoramic because this 35mm tilt lens is a 135 format and will have very bad dark corner. quite a challenge to use this lens as I can only set the lens using distance estimation and as according to the aperture.

The quotes here give an idea of the estimation of Hall Caine at the height of his reign, from the 1880s to the 1920s. These are extracts from reviews of Hall Caine's works which appeared as promotional material at the front of later editions of his books.
This particular version comes from the 1927 Cassell & Co. reprint of his 1921 novel, 'The Master of Man: The story of Sin.'
Although Hall Caine is effectively entirely forgotten today, it is clear from these quotes that he was seen to be a true and eternal great of world literature.

This display went a lot better than the last, in my estimation. A key factor was having a narrative to bring the layout together, I really think that's key for the direction I'm trying to go in.
In this case it was a recently terraformed planet starting to be developed for full habitation.
This is the classroom that I set up for the seeds/agricultural class I'm teaching to homeschool children.
Each table has a different hands-on activity. There is one more table with a seed/treat mix and a game on the ground.
Students in Michelle Hurley's Forensic Science classes made use of indoor and outdoor locations to complete forensic anthropolgy labs involving an estimation of a lab partners stature by meausuring long bones such as the femur, tibia, humerus and radius, and multiplying these measurements with formulas to estimate height. The outcome of the calculations is indicated in the lower figure (when division lines coincide)
The division of the (upper) Large Part is given in Roman numerals with only one division line given. The Small Part (below) consist of the four compartments (four boxes).
A communication value (CF) can be calculated when division lines (of LP and SP) coincide.
If they don't, there can only be an estimation, based on the last and the next CF-values.
The important notion (in a quadralectic environment) is the 'value' of the individual compartments (of the two four-divisions), which is not a rank number, but a shift-value (CF).
The numbers 1 - 4 (1, 2, 3, 4) produce 24 different ways of ranking. If these 24 sequences are shifted within themselves only 2 (two) shift values are produced: 16 times 0-6-8-6 (A-sequence) and 8 times 0-8-4-8 (B-sequence).

The link with quantum mechanics is - in my view - the treatment of the relation between motion (shift) and location (the 'knot' of coinciding division lines, defined by certain values, which themselves are also generated in a shift/motion).
This latter feature (of measurement) requires a 'higher' division environment (of thinking) to provide the 'space' for a shift.
It is precise this new thinking-space which makes the efforts of the followers of Albert Einstein look pathetic - from Bohr to Schrödinger.
(The basic difference of the atom model is that the Bohr model tells us that electrons have fixed paths while the Schrödinger equation incorporates the 'Uncertainty principle'. So, unlike the Bohr model, it tells us about the region where the electrons are likely to be found).
The 'Uncertainty Principle' (of Heisenberg) states that an electron, or any other particle, can never have its exact position known, or even specified. Bad luck, but if we are able to escape the constraints of two-fold thinking, by entering the four-fold universe, a whole new world opens up.
Maybe the uncertainty principle can be thrown out of the window. The position and speed of a particle get a new meaning in a four-fold relation. Position and speed can be calculated by investigating the parameters of the observer and the observed. Their mutual relation should provide the data for a fixed figure.
The calculation (of a location) should not be performed in terms of probabilities. Forget about the waves! Rather use the Universal Communication Graph (UCG).
The CF-graph looks like a wave with its successive collection of sixteen line segments, but its meaning is completely different. Locations (positions) on the line(s) are not mere figures. The CF-value (the communication factor) carries a far greater load of information, including past, present and future and offer the solution of the measurement problem in the process.
