So, what are the cards about then?
Well, we get the planning team together (the folks that wrote the requirements and the talent that is responsible for leading the team that will write the code) and walk through each of the user stories we developed. Each person in the room as a full set of these estimation cards. We review a story, discuss, and then each person simultaneously holds up the card they think represents the complexity to code/deliver that scenario. If the numbers are wildly different, we continue the discussion and vote again until there's a consensus value.
An early portrait of a sports team, it looks to be either soccer (football) or rugby by my estimation... The vendor thought that this photo may pre-date the WW1 time period, it is actually on thick cardboard-like material...

Moreover, the rate of decline in under-five mortality increased for the period 2000 to 2008 compared with the 1990s (the average annual rate of decline for 2000-2008 is 2.3% compared with 1.4% for 1990-2000).

The same old houses as I used for the Delfts blue tile picture, but now larger. By rough estimation, I would say that they're build around 1910-1930's. But hey, I'm no architect.. :)

Look at the size of this tooth. The Shark was massive, estimations put at three times the size of Great White Sharks. Roughly the size of a BUS!! www.calvertmarinemuseum.com/cmmfc/images/Meg.GW.compariso...
The giant prehistoric sharks are classified as Carcharodon megalodon, they are believed to have eaten whales! Reconstructions of their jaws suggest that they could open theirs mouths 3 meters, they could eat me in one bite!
Apparently you can actually take tours and go hunting for these teeth. You go and look for brownish colored sand, (plankton), and you can find the fossilized teeth. There are no laws against taking the teeth from the desert.

It is common to describe our relationships with society, the world, and the biosphere with metaphors from economics, which has specific understandings of value. Today’s prevailing economic conventions are unable to recognise the inherent value of the ecosystems on which all life depends. In cultures overdetermined by concepts from economics, we are left without adequate discursive instruments to address the importance of ecosystem contributions to life on Earth socially or politically.
This experiment consists of 1 square meter of wheat, cultivated in a closed environment. Critical inputs such as water, light, heat, and nutrients are measured, monitored and displayed for the public. This procedure makes the immense scale of ecosystem contributions palpable and provides a speculative reference for a reckoning of the undervalued and over-exploited “work of the biosphere.”

Students in Michelle Hurley's Forensic Science classes made use of indoor and outdoor locations to complete forensic anthropolgy labs involving an estimation of a lab partners stature by meausuring long bones such as the femur, tibia, humerus and radius, and multiplying these measurements with formulas to estimate height. Kentucky Highway 11 runs right outside our front door. There's a good amount of traffic on it most of the time although that estimation is relative given our location.
I did a rough calculation on the cusps extension from my 15th Aug 2015 photo, 9 hours to Inferior Conjunction.
It was difficult towards the edges as the limb diffused considerably.
My best estimation is at 207º
