Didn't set the camera format to panoramic because this 35mm tilt lens is a 135 format and will have very bad dark corner. quite a challenge to use this lens as I can only set the lens using distance estimation and as according to the aperture.
Today I went to the gym with a friend, looked around a few shops, sang in chamber choir and watched a free screening of Slumdog Millionaire. It's the second time I've seen the film, and my estimation of it has improved to a solid 7/10.
What a great morning for seeing the very pretty Bearded tits. Shame I didn't get close for that special shot but I thought I would share the best shot taken this morning from about 50 to 60 meters (heavily cropped, record shot)
There were 2 major flocks at Shapwick Heath both of 15 / 20 and several small groups making in my estimation 40ish seen at once across the reed beds where the starlings usually roost.
I remember when this was 'The Crunchy Apple' fruit and veg store.
This woolworths owned site has remained abandoned and derelict for about 20 years (I can't find the date anywhere, but this is my estimation.) Finally, it's been agreed that the site will be redeveleoped into a Masters home improvement centre and Woolworths. I thought I'd take some record shots before it all gets demolished.
My vision of a new car with a look back to some 30's design cues. Bored from all the new look-alikes of luxurious coupes, I would list this car as a competitor to cars from Morgan and Bristol among other cars. The model is made out of cardboard paper, in 1:18 scale, with real life dimensions estimation of 480 x 195 x 135 cm and a wheelbase of 280 cm.
So, what are the cards about then?
Well, we get the planning team together (the folks that wrote the requirements and the talent that is responsible for leading the team that will write the code) and walk through each of the user stories we developed. Each person in the room as a full set of these estimation cards. We review a story, discuss, and then each person simultaneously holds up the card they think represents the complexity to code/deliver that scenario. If the numbers are wildly different, we continue the discussion and vote again until there's a consensus value.
An early portrait of a sports team, it looks to be either soccer (football) or rugby by my estimation... The vendor thought that this photo may pre-date the WW1 time period, it is actually on thick cardboard-like material...

The giant prehistoric sharks are classified as Carcharodon megalodon, they are believed to have eaten whales! Reconstructions of their jaws suggest that they could open theirs mouths 3 meters, they could eat me in one bite!
Apparently you can actually take tours and go hunting for these teeth. You go and look for brownish colored sand, (plankton), and you can find the fossilized teeth. There are no laws against taking the teeth from the desert.
