"Photographic Memories from the Albums of Ester Carloni" at "The Historical and Maritime Museum of Istria", located on Kaštel, the central Pula hilltop, dominated by the baroque fortress from the 17th century.

Ester Carloni was an Italian self-taught photographer from Pu(o)la, who returned regularly to her birth place and documented the city, it's inhabitants and activities with a simple camera.

If you get the chance to visit....the exhibition is on until June 15th 23...it's worth a detour :-)

The name 'Ester Forsell' is written on the back - but I have not been able to find any more information on who she is.
