A massive, swirling and illuminated disc appears to hover, its surface pulsing with random bursts of light. This trance-like display mirrors the chaos of both the universe and technology, where glitches—like dreams—are unpredictable and chaotic but also hold the potential for creativity, change and new discoveries.
Error reminds us that to err is human, but perhaps those very errors open the door to divine possibility.

hello angels! here's a rando pic i took to test affinity (and bc i wanted a new profile picture lol). i gotten more and more annoyed with adobe and their decisions these days so i've been looking at my options. it is definitely a learning curve but i did this entire picture in affinity and i kind of love it! i hope u like it too! <3

I did not look around me for things that seemed out of place. I tried to create an "error" myself by taking unsharp and underexposed images.

My first trial and error in long exposure capturing water flowing. No tripod as my plan for the day was Jervaulex Abbey (love that place), so rocks, stone walls, flowers and other non-moving objects. However, after deciding to take the looooong route home i came upon this little river and decide to try my luck.
So handheld with only rocks and branches to support I gave it my best shot!
recipe:
-nikon d5000 + 18-55 kit lens

-Yongnuo YN560 @1/32 subject left, an A4 white paper subject right. The flash was wrapped with a black felt paper to act as a snoot to avoid light spill on the black background.
- base is a glass where the underside is painted white
- enhanced in Lightroom 3
-lots of trial and error
-lots of spilled milk
-lots of cleaning up to do

Here are a few interesting pieces of odd and super rare factory errors that missed the qc people's eyes!
Short shot samurai sword and green stem, (both came out of sets)
The Duplo brick was from the Brickworld charity auction
The 2x4 plate came out of a set, hot release, pushed out of the mold to quickly
and the blank trooper helmet came from a mixed bin of bricks.
DMIR #404 begins the trip up to the Mesabi Range with limestone loads from the junction. In the background is the DW&P flyover, used by CN southbounds.

56303 hauls dead 56312 & 56311 and empty scrap wagons passed Sawley on 03/08/12 as 6Z56 1200 Chaddesden-Barrow Hill as a test run following major repairs. This shot has had a new sunny background added as the middle to rear backdrop wasn't lit, and whilst i was at it i've added a little to the left of the shot as I almost chopped the back of the train off, schoolboy error....
some purposeful technical errors to induce contrast and color tone change combined with the high resolution of the Nikon D810 to produce a high fi/low fi image.
Egrets appearing to communicate after one of them drove another bird from its perch. Their position were as if they were talking to each other. I think species is Eastern Great Egret, please correct if I am in error. View Large
