Asistimos al Veggie Fest en Tijuana. 3 días intensos de mostrar iAnimal a los asistentes, 300 personas se pusieron en el lugar de los animales y las reacciones nos motivan a seguir informando esta realidad, todos, sin excepción después de ver iAnimal quieren ayudar a los animales.

Martedì 21 ottobre Animal Equality, in collaborazione con il Nuovo Cinema Aquila, ha realizzato la proiezione in esclusiva a Roma del discusso e acclamato documentario The Ghosts in Our Machine, diretto dalla regista canadese Liz Marshall, con la partecipazione dell'affermata fotografa Jo-Anne McArthur. L'ampia sala principale del Nuovo Cinema Aquila ha ospitato quest'attesissima proiezione all'interno di serata che è stata caratterizzata da un gustoso aperitivo 100% veg e a seguire da un'introduzione al film curata da Emilio Maggio, autore assieme a Massimo Filippi del libro 'Penne e Pellicole'. L'evento si è concluso in maniera speciale, dopo la proiezione infatti abbiamo realizzato un'intervista via skype con Susie Coston, responsabile del rifugio Farm Sanctuary e co-protagonista di storie davvero emozionanti raccontate nel film.

A special Constitution Day program held Sept. 17, 2015, featuring attorney Evan Wolfson, who often is credited with being the founder and leader of the same-sex marriage movement. Wolfson, along with Pitt Law Professor Anthony Infanti. The discussion centered around the U.S. Supreme Court’s recent landmark decision in Obergefell v. Hodges; the history of the effort to attain marriage equality for members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community; and what legal and social challenges lie ahead for the community. PA Representative Dan B. Frankel who represents the 23rd District, also spoke with the panel and answered audience questions.
We hosted a workshop on behalf of the Women & Gender Constituency together with CTCN, where all the (including from previous years) winners of the Gender Just Climate Solution Award get to share best practices and lessons learnt. They also received training in how to scale up and replicate their solutions sustainably.

Se è vero che le parole creano mondi e che raccontare le cose le fa esistere, TEDxReggioEmilia, nel suo decimo anniversario, vuole testimoniare come anche attraverso la forza delle parole sia possibile lottare per i propri diritti con lealtà e rispetto, facendosi valere e provando a cambiare con coraggio.
Progettare un mondo diverso, più giusto: un mondo di persone più felici e fedeli a se stesse.
Ciò che sembra dissonante può non esserlo. I contrasti e i pregiudizi possono appianarsi.
Mai come in questo momento storico, schiacciati dall’assenza di sicurezze e bloccati in una realtà distopica in cui spazio e tempo sembrano sospesi, c’è bisogno di parole incoraggianti, di favorire un uso della tecnologia inclusivo e consapevole, per porre il focus sulla bellezza dentro e intorno a noi, per farci ispirare e trovare nuove motivazioni.
Un nuovo Umanesimo, che parta dalle parole e dagli esempi concreti, per insegnare alle bambine e ai bambini, alle ragazze e ai ragazzi e alle persone tutte, che possono lottare per un mondo inclusivo in cui chiunque può progettare la propria vita e dar vita ai propri desideri.
Parità, inclusione, femminismo, talento, diritti, ambiente, tecnologia, consapevolezza.
Possiamo cambiare il mondo, una parola alla volta.
