Ich war gerade von meiner Einfahrt rausgefahren, ich musste zur Videothek nach Hamburg zwei DVDs wegbringen, da kam dieser Mann gerade aus einem Hauseingang heraus. Ich fuhr einige Meter weiter, hielt dann aber doch rechts am Fahrbahnrand und machte den Motor aus. Kurze Zeit später stieg ich aus und ging ihm entgegen. Ich stellte mich dem Mann vor und erklärte ihm das ich gerne ein Foto machen würde. Er war sofort einverstanden und wir gingen beide zurück zum Auto, ich musste ja noch die Kamera holen. Rechtzeitig zum “Foto machen”, schaute die Sonne durch die Wolken und da mir nichts besseres einfiel bzw. ich die Idee: “Weiches Gegenlicht bei einem markanten Männergesicht” sehr gut fand, beschloss ich das Foto gegen die Sonne zu machen. Ich musste, da ich ja keine Vorbereitungszeit hatte, zwei Fotos mehr machen (also insgesamt vier) und diesmal ist es das vierte Foto, welches mir am besten gefiel.
Noch bevor wir das Foto machten erzählte er mir, das er gerade hergezogen sei. Einer der Gründe seien die “Schrauber” die bei uns im Dorf wohnen gewesen. Ich wusste schon, das hier der eine oder andere an seinem Motorrad herumschraubt. Was ich aber nicht wusste war, das diese “Schrauber” jedes Jahr diverse Preise (national und international) für ihre Harley-Custom-Bikes absahnen. “International bekannt seien sie” wurde mir erzählt. Auch sein Bike sei 2007 von einer Internationalen Harley-Jury mehrmals ausgezeichnet worden. Ich freu mich schon das Bike demnächst mal in Aktion zu sehen UND zu hören – natürlich mit Kamera.
Zum Glück hat er mich gefragt ob ich ihn bis zum Bahnhof mitnehmen könne, denn die 15 Minuten Autofahrt waren sehr interessant und ich habe eine Menge über Custom-Bikes erfahren. Zusammengefasst ist das wohl ein ähnlich Geld-verschlingendes “Hobby” wie die Fotografie *zwinker*

Hallo,
nach vielen Jahren war ich mal wieder in München auf eine Konferenz. Nachdem mir bei meinen Wien-Bildern gesagt wurde, das man Wien nicht erkennt (was leider stimmt), hatte ich mir vor genommen die Portraits in München mit 35mm Brennweite zu machen.
Am Abend nach dem ersten Konferenztag, suchte ich mir in der Münchner Innenstadt einen netten Platz, der für mich Hamburger nach München ausschaut (u.a. die Straßenbahnschienen). Dort traf ich auch gleich die richtige Person für mein Foto. Diese junge Frau, eingehüllt in einer Kapuzen-Jacke-Poncho-Dings-Bums sollte es sein. Nach einem längeren Gespräch, machte ich mehrere Fotos. Wir standen sehr nah an den Schienen und eine vorbeifahrende Straßenbahn hatte uns ganz schon erschrocken.
Warum ist das Wetter in im Süden eigentlich besser? Wien – Sonne, München – Sonne, Hamburg – Sturm und Regen. Naja

Genau das ist die richtige Antwort auf das derzeitige Wetter in Hamburg. Heute Mittag hat es, wie für Hamburg völlig untypisch :-), wieder einmal geregnet. Die Leute versteckten ihre Gesichter unter Jacken, Kapuzen, Mützen oder Schirmen – Hauptsache das Gesicht bleibt trocken. Mir ist dabei aufgefallen, das der Mensch da recht erfinderisch ist und es sich dafür alleine schon lohnt ein Projekt draus zu machen (Notiz an mich: Konzept machen).
Dieser jungen Dame war das aber egal. Freude strahlend und mit bester Laune ging sie und ihre Freundin durch die Fussgängerzone. Für mich der Beweis, das ich nicht alleine auf diesem Planeten wohne und bei den ersten Regentropfen den Kopf in den Sand bzw. unter der Kapuze verstecke.
Ich machte mich also schnell auf den Weg um mich vor die beiden zu stellen und in bester “Straßenmarktforschungs-Manier” mein Projekt vorzustellen. Wie durch ein Wunder blieben die beiden stehen und hörten mir aufmerksam zu und meinten dann im Anschluss: “Das unterstützen wir doch” und damit meinten sie natürlich mein Projekt.

Welcome to a late hour.
What a day. I wanted an extra day home early, my wife had to go to a parents' evening, there goes broke just before the highway the car. I had 3.5 hours to wait for the tow company and last but not least also pay € 197.13. I'm curious about what tomorrow morning says the workshop.
But how about the photo. Originated in the city center on the way to dinner. I remember this only a: Great freckles.

Includes an all new "Bolt Arrow." These arrows do 30% damage and Wrack damage that add a new situational element to fighting. The crossbow version has a longer delay between firing making accuracy that much more important but the added damage and wrack effect certainly change the dynamics to using a bow

The third generation of the Smart Fortwo was introduced in 2014. Nowadays it's only available with an electric motor. Like the electric Mercedes-Benz models it's labeled EQ. In 2020 the model was facelifted for the last time. Soon there will be a new and larger Smart #1 built in China in a joint-venture with Geely.

ist das kleine Fräulein nicht süß? Eigentlich hatte ich mein Foto für heute schon, ich habe es in der Innenstadt in einem Geschäft gemacht und war mehr als zufrieden.
Nun musste ich nach der Arbeit doch noch kurz in die Stadt um etwas zu besorgen. Auf dem Weg dorthin, kam ich an einem asiatischem Restaurant vorbei deren schiebe Fenster/Türen weit geöffnet waren. Die sommerlichen Temperaturen sorgten dafür, dass sich die Leute dort hinsetzten und aßen. Mit dem Essensgeruch in der Nase ging ich den Gehweg weiter. Plötzlich schoss das kleine Fräulein, direkt vor mir, aus einen dieser geöffneten Türen rannte, hüpfte den Gehweg entlang. Nur Augenblicke später stürmte die Mutter hinterher und hielt die kleine davon ab auf die Straße zu rennen. Ich hatte sie bis jetzt nur von hinten gesehen und dachte nachdem sie in meine Richtung rannte und ich sie von vorne sehen konnte; Ich muss die Mutter unbedingt ansprechen und fragen ob ich die kleine fotografieren darf. Die Mutter hatte nichts dagegen und versuchte nun mit mir die kleine einzufangen damit ich sie fotografieren könne. Nun habe ich selber Kinder bzw. schon sehr viele fotografiert, dass ich den einen oder anderen Trick kenne, um die Aufmerksamkeit der Kinder zu bekommen – so auch heute. Die kleine stand an einem Schaufenster und suchte etwas, denn ich habe ihr gesagt, dass ein kleines Bärchen dort sitzen würde. So hatte ich die Möglichkeit mich zu nähern und mich und meine Kamera in Position zu bringen, während sie den Bären suchte, fing ich an mit ihr zu reden und hoffte, das sie sich umdrehen und zu mir gucken würde, was sie auch tat. Während ich mit ihr redete und sie mich mit ihren großen Augen anschaute machte ich ein paar Aufnahmen.

The funerary text (its dedicatory layout, the memory of the deceased's rank and his family ties, as well as the reference to the tomb as the object of the dedication) and the elements of the carved decoration belonging to the classical tradition attest the high status of the sarcophagus commissioners.
According to the dedicatory epigraph, the chest contained the body of Florentius Domitius Marinianus, a very young "eques romanus", Roman knight, who died on August 3 at the age of nine years and two months. His parents, Tullianus et Aristia, deposed the their beloved son on August 6, only three days after his death, too short an interval of time to make a so richly carved sarcophagus. They therefore bought one already sculpted, in which the only change needed was the figure of the deceased. The boy-knight holds a scroll in his left hand, making an oratory gesture; he wears the dress of a high officer: a waist tied tunic, cuirass with pendants, chlamys with buckles on the right humerus and "calcei", typical Roman foot-wears. Our young officer stands in front of the tent, supported by two plump flying genies under which there are two deities representing Ocean, on the right, and Earth, on the left. Ocean is depicted with bare torso and legs wrapped in a pallium; he holds an anchor with his right hand. A putto is kissing him; another one approaches him by swimming from right, facing a "pistrice" - imaginary sea animal - threatening him, with his wide open mouth. Earth wears a tunic and a typical female cloak, "palla"; she holds the cornucopia with her left hand. Her right hand is extended in a gesture of reproach towards a putto, who has frightened a companion with a mask, making him fall to the ground.
The beautiful head carved on the left of Earth probably represents a Nymph. In the corners there are two genies of the Seasons. On the right, Autumn with a basket full of fruit and a bunch of grapes; on the left, Winter with a walking stick, "pedum", and a hare towards which a dog jumps. At the feet of Autumn a lapwing.

Chery Automobile was the largest Chinese carmaker for quite some time, thanks to successes of the QQ, Tiggo, A5 and the old Windcloud/Flagcloud (Fulwin/Cowin) models. Chery is a state-owned company founded in 1997. It began automobile production in 1999 after acquiring toolings and a license to produce the first generation Seat Toledo. Interesting is that Chery was only granted a production license for passenger cars in 2003, which means Chery cars couldn't be legally sold until 2001. Until then Chery was officially only producing automotive components, albeit in a fully assembled form. In 2001 Chery solved the problem by piggybacking on a SAIC Motor license, China's largest state-owned car manufacturer. Chery surely knowns the way around the law... After rising tensions between Chery Automobile and General Motors (GM) and Volkswagen, two of SAIC's joint venture partners, the 20% ownership SAIC once held in Chery was sold. GM was not amused and filed lawsuits after Chery copied their Spark (Matiz) and Epica (Evanda/Magnus) models. Volkswagen also planned a lawsuit against Chery, because they apparently secretly purchased the Seat Toledo blueprints, which is quite interesting considering Seat is a subsidiary of Volkswagen...
The infamous Chery QQ is a copy of the Daewoo Matiz or Chevrolet Spark as it was known in China. It could be seen as one of the icons of the relatively young Chinese automotive history. It once was the Chinese car with the highest cumulative sales. Until today over 1.4 million examples should have been sold in China only, including the in-house designed QQ6 five-door liftback based on the same platform and the second generation model, which was launched in 2013. The first generation model was discontinued a couple of years ago, since the demand for small city cars shrunk significantly in the last years. The QQ was renamed QQ3 in 2006 to distinguish it from the QQ6, launched in the same year.
The second generation Chery QQ was launched in 2013. It is sold in Italy as DR Zero. Unlike its predecessor it has a distinct design. The electric QQ debuted in 2014 as Chery eQ. In Yangshuo there were quite some Chery eQs from car sharing platform GoFun Chuxing. The eQ has a 22 kWh lithium-ion battery, maximum power of 42 kW/57 hp and torque of 150 Nm and 200 km range.
