Maryland Environmental Service (MES) Equipment Operator Bill Tittle from Dundalk Marine Terminal attended a cleanup of Bear Creek Park in Dundalk on April 20, an event planned by Clean Bread and Cheese Creek and the Bear Creek Trail Planning Committee as a Project Clean Stream activity. Bill and the 130 other volunteers removed over four tons of trash, over two tons of metal to be recycled and other various items (Bill is in the glasses and safety vest).
Arapahoe Basin is committed to providing quality outdoor recreational experiences while maintaining the mountain environment. Environmental programs include recycling, car pooling incentives, vermicomposting, idling policies, power use and event guidelines. While we can’t eliminate our foot print, we seek to greatly reduce it.

We were recently invited by Martin and Anina, from the Architectural Society of Scotland, to share their display space at the Dumfries & Galloway Environment Fair hosted at the Crichton in Dumfries.
What a great day it was! Hundreds of families came to chat and find out more about the Cruck Cottage and other historic buildings in the area.
Anina had set up tables where children could draw a picture of their favourite building - they were great!
Thanks again to Martin and Anina for inviting us.

The recent meeting of the G-20 brought out large numbers of militant protesters. Seems the economic slump may have started in the US, but now has spread world-wide, which has contributed a heavy working class character to the movement against corporate globalization. We start off episode 351 with the G-20, thanks to Franklyn Lopez, then move quickly to UK workers who took over their factory. Just in time for Mayday, Indymedia presents stories of working class heros, locked in dramatic battle for their futures. Workers of the World Unite! This episode was edited for PepperSpray by Tacoma Joe LaSac. For more from Franklyn Lopez see www.submedia.tv. For more from Will Roche, who made the UK takeover video, see www.marxist.com. Philadelphia
Development in Philly is out of control, worsening conditions for working class people & the environment. Hundreds of community activists took to the streets to set the tone for Philly's 2023 election: anyone running for mayor or city council better have policy solutions for ensuring long-term, working class residents have a place in this city and that Philly is truly tackling and prepared for the climate crisis.
The march was organized by community groups fighting for land justice across our city, including Philly Thrive, Sunrise Movement, VietLead, Save UCTownhomes, Save the Meadows, Cobbs Creek EJ, and more!

Melbourne, Environment Victoria and friends
Over the coming few weeks, as the price on pollution is debated in Parliament, Victorian communities will come together to take part in the Earth Relay - a series of actions to symbolise support for action on climate change.
Like the passage of the Olympic flame to the site of the Olympic Games, communities across Victoria will be passing a human sized earth globe from suburb to suburb and town to town. And after travelling across the state, the dome will be taken to Parliament House, Canberra to send the Victorian community’s message of hope for the future.
So get involved in this important moment in history. Hop here to find out when the when the Earth Relay is coming to a suburb or town near you > www.environmentvictoria.org.au/earth-relay
