We were recently invited by Martin and Anina, from the Architectural Society of Scotland, to share their display space at the Dumfries & Galloway Environment Fair hosted at the Crichton in Dumfries.

What a great day it was! Hundreds of families came to chat and find out more about the Cruck Cottage and other historic buildings in the area.

Anina had set up tables where children could draw a picture of their favourite building - they were great!

Thanks again to Martin and Anina for inviting us.

In Djibouti, UNEP together with the Ministry of Urbanism, Habitat and Environment and several other partners are reducing the vulnerability to climate change by restoring various types of ecosystems, along with their associated benefits, such as water sources and flood protection. This project is regenerating degraded Acacia woodlands and mangroves, while building infrastructure to combat floods and droughts, including boreholes in dry areas and a dyke in a flood-prone urban zone.

Great artwork from the Advertising School Sir JJ Institute of Applied Art, Mumbai, India showing to possible end of a journey on our planet. The left side of each image shows, for most of us an unrealistic, paradise. Communicating the contrast at both sides is great way to tell the story.

The ads are made for the Central Pollution Control Board from the Ministery of Environment and Forest in India.

Philadelphia

Development in Philly is out of control, worsening conditions for working class people & the environment. Hundreds of community activists took to the streets to set the tone for Philly's 2023 election: anyone running for mayor or city council better have policy solutions for ensuring long-term, working class residents have a place in this city and that Philly is truly tackling and prepared for the climate crisis.

The march was organized by community groups fighting for land justice across our city, including Philly Thrive, Sunrise Movement, VietLead, Save UCTownhomes, Save the Meadows, Cobbs Creek EJ, and more!
