The Ministry of Environment and other institutions located at Nyarugenge Pension Plaza held an event to mark the 24th Commemoration of the Genocide against the Tutsi to remember the more than one million victims of the Genocide.
The Georgia River Network sponsors a week long kayak/canoe trip down a different Georgia watershed each year, educating the 300+ participants about the importance and issues surrounding the Georgia rivers and hosting a cleanup day. It's a float depicting our environment awareness and campaign on how to take good care of our environment for its existence as well as the success of all people on earth. Help save the earth.
This is a good picture for the environment, because in just about any other environment he would look out of place because he has work gloves on and is dirty. Having the background be a fence, open field, and a pond makes it a good environment for his outfit.

In the wake of the Rudd Government’s backflip on climate change and uncertainty about the future of carbon pricing, environment and community groups rallied outside Parliament House to call for the replacement of Australia’s dirtiest power station.
Hundreds of people gathered on the steps of Parliament House to urge Premier Brumby and Ted Baillieu to commit to replacing Hazelwood coal-fired power station with clean energy by 2012 as a key plank of their election platform.
