The lanterns appear to be decorated with scenes and characters from Chinese literature, including the 16th century Chinese Novel "Journey to the West".
Entry to Gallery 16, San Francisco. Experimental wallpaper by artist Rex Ray. Painting by Griff Williams.
My entry for the "Day at the Fair" bow challenge. Made in traditional circus/carnival colors using birdsong bows tutorials. Tail spikes, large base bow, and removable korker center piece. As a bonus it matches my daughter's first birthday "Dr. Seuss" theme. She's bald so she has to have a big bow. *L* Finished bow is 6 inches across.

I choose the loading bar because I think it is an element wich make us think about something is progressing.
Almost people, every person in fact, know what it means. Progress, evolution.
A simple loading bar doesn't have any link with the subject : India. So, I guess how can I talk about this country, how can I explain my idea. I choose one of the most important, maybe the most important monument in India: Taj Mahal. This beautiful monument becomes my loading bar.
I would use different colours and I repeat the line several times because I think India is growing up but not in only one way.
The coax cable comes into the house in the living room. The picture at right is LUS' cable new entry point. —You can see the Cox line running below.
D700, 14-24 with SB 600. Took 3 exposures as I thought I would need a lighter exp for the kitchen area down the hallway, and also the shorter exp to bring the window highlights in. And thought the flash would blow out the wall. Ended up just using the one, edited in LR and was pleasantly surprised.
I originally composed it just for the entry then added the hall and kitchen, then even went wider to the arch in the dining RH side. It least it can be cropped, but it does at least show a few connecting areas in the one shot??
