PLEASE CLAWMENT IF YOU FAVE!
My entry to TheLegoZealot contest!
I love idea of redesigning Batman villains!
Here's my rendition of Catwoman.
سيلينا كايل
Saylina Kayl-
The main inspiration was from Egyptian Cats. I figured why not make Catwoman Egyptian inspired.
The torso, legs, and head were all fully painted by me. I tried adding a royal necklace of sorts, maybe something she stole.
Her helmet is the old Catwoman helmet, with details painted on. The claws are a cut chain piece glued to the hand.
The main focus is the Arabic words scattered around the figure.
Huge thanks to Scott Blankfield who suggested adding something above her eyes.
Above her eyes says Cat in Arabic.
Across her eyeholes says "woman".
And her torso says claws, if read sideways.
Anyways, I'm really satisfied with how she came out!
Thanks!

Lane from Gate 6 off North Terrace leading into the old Royal Adelaide Hospital. The purpose of the sign was to stop vehicles from entering past a certain point.
It wasn't far from here that an officious and potbellied security guard tried to tell me and my husband off for being there. We had already spotted him and were leaving, when he ran up and insisted on telling us off. This overactive guy also chased Sedge off the same day!
Actually there was no indication that the lane was off-limits to public pedestrians, unlike the red/white tape and full-on fence further away.
Dolphin going back into the water up at Chanonry Point after a great breach. Luckily enough to get all the sequence of images from exit to entry. These were published in our national papers . The Scottish sun and the daily Record, nice when that happens.
My entry for the preliminary round of biocup2022
Theme: Nature
The inspiration for this build came from the trans-neon orange kaukau. After adding the matoran, everything clicked into place.
Entry for the Challenge 6 of the RPG Nine Kingdoms on the LUG Imperium der Steine (www.ImperiumDerSteine.de).
It shows the harbor market of the city Thoris in the east of the Kingdom Kurvenheim.
Task was to build a MOC which shows how the residents of the kingdoms sell their fruits, veggies and other products.
In Thoris they also are building on a ship.
Hope you like it :)
Don't worry I will be purchasing Star Wars Brickarms and more clones
How you guys like the new style?
Off to the right - they are pouring a concrete slab on the building appendage that fell outside of the main perimeter.
The lines and shadows are from the trusses above that form the structure for the roof.
Terrific Thursday to you.
Though it serves as the pathway to the main section of Portland Japanese Garden, the Entry Garden is technically the first of eight gardens you will see in Portland Japanese garden
PLEASE COMMENT IF YOU FAVORITE!
I made this Captain Cold fig, just a few days ago, and when I came across, Leo Vizzutti contest, I knew I had to build a vignette for him.
The fig itself is my old Star-Lord V2 custom, with an entire repaint and new details and bits glued on.
The Vig is a little ice Cave scene. I considered adding a penguin, but he didn't make it into the final build.
Thanks!

I hope it's ok that there white in the hair a bit of super glue got on there and it the only one of this hair I've got 😟.
Also I was wondering when the contest ends and what the prizes are?
Following completing my large Monastery/Temple model, I made an additional entry way to the village which it will be housed in. Models based on the 'Adventures' theme, with a few focusing on 'Orient Expedition', have been among my recent builds.
I will upload some further photos of additional models once I get a chance, including; Monastery, Steam Ship, Tracked Transport,
Simple.
My new Coventry perch where a Voyager performs to an audience of just one way up in the balconies. All that is left is to bow and exit stage left.
In life all doors can either lead to the same point, or to another quite opposite. Our paths in life don’t need to follow any formula, although sometimes it would feel nicer if we received the secret directions up front. It would prevent a lot of frustrations and sadness if we knew which opportunities to accept and which ones to pass by.
From my sister's perspective....
On the last day of July in 2018, the Lower East Rift Zone eruption from Kilauea was nearing the end. A river of lava flowed for miles from Ahuʻailāʻau (Fissure 8) all the way to the ocean where Pele was still building new land after violently reclaiming old land. From our boat, we bobbled up and down several feet at a time in the choppy water as we tried to capture the action. The actual ocean entry was only visible when we were at the top of a wave. As we were about to begin the long journey back to Hilo, the light was getting dark and the lava was beginning to really illuminate the vog and steam rising up from the cool ocean water and the 2000 degree lava. Photography was so difficult but I managed to capture a few frames while mostly just staring in awe. Technically imperfect, this image captures best the feeling of this scene I will never foret.
Another entry for the February Minifig contest on Classic-Castle. Black falcons are one of my personal favorite factions, so of course I had to make at least one entry utilizing them!
