For our first mission in the 253rd, we had gotten our orders from General Kenobi himself that we were to mount up and take on the oncoming IG-Series Lancer Droids that were racing towards our artillery line in front of the city. So I told my squad to form up and get ready.

I decided to have two of my troops take on the Seps on Lancer bikes while me and the other two continued on foot. I still need to give them names so bare with me until my next log.

As we got to the main battle area, we realized that most of them were already taken out except for a few droids. So I took my trusty sniper out and gunned out about 7-8 of them.

One of my troopers quickly said : "Great shooting sergeant." - "Thanks," I replied.

" We had new orders ! Destroy the A-series assassin droids, before they could kill some Jedi. I kinda failed. Kinda. For me it is okay, but less for command. I destroyed every assassin droids I met , but some of them found some Jedis, and Padawans before me. Not even able to protect themselves from a droid. I have the feeling that we, from the 253rd, are the babysitters of these Jedis. I had to take care of a Padawan who's master was lost. By lost, I mean he was killed. The Jedi, his apprentice and a couple of clone attacked a trench held by Nationalists. Most of the clone died. Well, all of them in fact. The Jedis made it into the trench, and started to cut some arms. And head. Stuffs like that. But then the assassin droid I was tracking found them. He shot the Jedi in the back, and was about to do the same to the Padawan, but I killed it before it could do that regrettable act . Then the Padawan get shot by one of the few Nationalists who were remaining. I finished what the Jedis started in the trench. Only one Nationalist was alive. He was yelling in pain, as the Jedi, before he died, cut his leg.

/CT-1024-52, Me/ Hey, Padawan. Achieve this man. He's suffering.

/Padawan/ .. No ! I ... I can't ! I can't ! No !! Help me to get out of there !

/CT-1024-52, Me/ Not until you achieve him.

/Padawan/ Why don't you do it yourself ?

/CT-1024-52, Me/ Always the clones who have to do the dirty work right ? No, I don't want to.

/Padawan/ You said he was suffering. Do it

/CT-1024-52, Me/ No. I don't give a fuck if he's suffering. I don't want to. You should be happy that I'm not mutilating him right now. But, you don't like to see him suffer. You're a Jedi after all. Well, sort of.

He stabbed the men in is heart

/Padawan/ Now help to get out of here. I'm wounded.

/CT-1024-52, Me/ I don't care. Get out that trench alone. I already saved your life. Twice.

/Padawan/ Twice ?

/CT-1024-52, Me/ The A-serie droid first, then the Nationalists. Twice. Now get out of there, we're moving. The command, unlike me, would be happy to see a Jedi alive. Even if you're not really a Jedi.

/Padawan/ You're completly insane.

/CT-1024-52, Me/ Yeap, I know. I'm fucked up. I'm a bit of a psychopath... But adapted to this war.

Indeed I was. Jabiim is an hell. I liked it at first, but now, I just want to get out of there. Because of the wrong decisions from command, we will lost. It's sure. Alpha, Kenobi, and most of the Jedis generals are missing. Or dead. I think that none of us will leave this planet alive."

Think this is a good entry? Tis Melee styled.

Originally, I was thinking about using a Ganondorf, Charizard, and Robin lineup, but I scraped the idea after seeing OrangXephos enter his Robin. Why scrap out my latest custom though?

I don't want my entry to contain a character that has been used. I really want my lineup to be unique, so I might try this lineup for one contest and a different for another? I'm not sure at this point.

I'm aware that this might at first sight appear to be one of those contrived kaleidoscopic images where the reflection has been processed! It is real.

The symmetry comes from shooting low to the ground.

Don't worry I will be purchasing Star Wars Brickarms and more clones

How you guys like the new style?

Terrific Thursday to you.

Though it serves as the pathway to the main section of Portland Japanese Garden, the Entry Garden is technically the first of eight gardens you will see in Portland Japanese garden

I took a Night Photography class sponsored by Desert Botanical Garden and taught by Ryan Parra - a photography professor at Mesa Community College and Arizona State University. I learned a lot and practiced a lot. I really feel that I had improved significantly by the end of the class. One big problem with classes like this is keeping other photographers out of the frame.

This HYBYCOZO sculpture is titled Pyrite Field. It greets visitors in the Ottosen Entry Garden. Any correction will be appreciated.

LIGHT BLOOM by HYBYCOZO is a limited-time exhibit where nature and light converge. This mesmerizing display invites you to explore the Garden transformed by stunning geometric light installations that illuminate the beauty of the desert landscape in a new way. As the sun sets, LIGHT BLOOM comes to life, casting intricate shadows and vibrant hues across the Garden. Wander the trails and let the enchanting installations transport you to a magical realm where the natural world meets the abstract.

HYBYCOZO is the collaborative studio of artists Serge Beaulieu and Yelena Filipchuk. Based in Los Angeles, their work consists of larger than life geometric sculptures, often with pattern and texture that draw on inspirations from mathematics, science, and natural phenomena. Typically illuminated, the work celebrates the inherent beauty of form and pattern and represents their ongoing journey in exploring the myriad dimensions of geometry. HYBYCOZO is short for the Hyperspace Bypass Construction Zone, a nod to their favorite novel (The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy) and was the title of their first installation in 2014. They continue to create under this name. In the novel earth was being destroyed to make way for a bypass. It lead Serge and Yelena to ask what it means to make art at a time where the earth’s hospitable time in the universe may be limited.

Q: Walk us through your creative process?

A: The focus of our creative process is to explore the intricate interplay between geometry, light, space and to inspire contemplation, wonder and a sense of place among our audiences. Geometry and pattern-making serve as the backbone of our creative expression. It is the framework through which we navigate the complexities of form, proportion and spatial relationships. Patterns, both simple and complex, have a profound impact on our perception and understanding of the world. They possess the ability to evoke a sense of order, balance and aesthetic pleasure. Pattern making and geometry offer us a means of storytelling and communication. These patterns serve as conduits for deeper exploration, provoking introspection and contemplation to uncover the underlying symbols embedded within the human psyche.

Q: What inspired the concept of LIGHT BLOOM?

A: Just as many cactus and desert plants have evolved to produce night-blooming flowers, adapting to their environment and thriving in darkness, our sculptures come alive after sunset, blossoming with light and transforming the night into a glowing landscape of art and geometry.

Desert Botanical Garden has an incredible collection of plants and cacti arranged in a beautiful park setting.

I made this Captain Cold fig, just a few days ago, and when I came across, Leo Vizzutti contest, I knew I had to build a vignette for him.

The fig itself is my old Star-Lord V2 custom, with an entire repaint and new details and bits glued on.

The Vig is a little ice Cave scene. I considered adding a penguin, but he didn't make it into the final build.

Thanks!

Following completing my large Monastery/Temple model, I made an additional entry way to the village which it will be housed in. Models based on the 'Adventures' theme, with a few focusing on 'Orient Expedition', have been among my recent builds.

I will upload some further photos of additional models once I get a chance, including; Monastery, Steam Ship, Tracked Transport,

In life all doors can either lead to the same point, or to another quite opposite. Our paths in life don’t need to follow any formula, although sometimes it would feel nicer if we received the secret directions up front. It would prevent a lot of frustrations and sadness if we knew which opportunities to accept and which ones to pass by.

I was scared to shoot this any closer than I did, wasps had nested above the entry.

After 'foretaste' I headed up over the headland to catch the show in case it was a fizzer ..

This is above the entry to the 'Blowhole' that Kiama is famous for, interestingly when looking south (as we are here) at Kiama we're looking to the 'Heights' and Kiama Downs is in the North - has always tickled my sense of irony.

Welp here's another entry to a contest imo I think these guys were better than the first entry.

Red moon (Todd spectre)

Todd was a man suffering from schizophrenia with two alt personalities Jason a child who wanted to be a superhero hero and Marc a insane man who enjoyed killing. In order to keep the personalities at bay he created another that mixed them together now a violent vigilante calling himself red moon. Now that he was a costumed crime fighter it made sense to him to move where the others lived leaving egypt and going to the us. However the only problem is sometimes his personalities take over and he losses control of them, his idea is to only kill the most evil villains but sometimes things get out of hand.

Super spider (Connor Kent morales) young Connor wanted to help people like his stepfather lex Luthers company one day he got that chance, lex decided to mix his DNA with that of other dead superheroes, Connor thought it was because he thought lex wanted him to become a hero...but he was mistaken lex was actually a villain named the prowler and wanted Connor to join his criminal empire, Connor wasn't gonna have any part of it so he tried to take out the prowler, and become a superhero known as the super spider

Thor (billy Donald Blake-batson) billy had gone through many different foster homes and now the current one he was in adopted him but he just didn't fit in with any one else. So he ran away in the subway he saw a strange hooded figure so he followed him, after a while the figure turned around turns out the figure wanted to be followed. He removed his hood and a very old man was revealed. "Son my time has come but this world is still in danger from my son teth Adam laufeyson I need somebody to take the place of my son and I, I must give away our powers all you must do is speak my sons or my name and you shall be worthy to take this Hammer which contains our power." "W-what's you and your sons names?" Said billy he had tons of questions yet that was the one that came out "my son was Thor and I am...." but t it was too late the old man had died. "Well I haven't done much good in my life I guess this is where that can change, THOR!" He shouted....he didn't feel any different but than he saw the hammer the old dude was taking about he picked it up and suddenly became grown man filled with the power of Thor and the other guy
