“It’s the little things”. I was going through old photos and happened upon this photo I took some years ago. It won’t win any awards but the colors, light and shadows delighted me then and still. 😊 It is the Entry Hall of my wonderfully talented Sister-In-Law.
Sunset at Palouse Falls, Washington. about a 2 hours drive from Spokane, Washington. real quite and peaceful place :)
Arco de Santa María in Burgos, Spain, is to one of the twelve medieval gates the city had during the middle ages. It was rebuilt by Charles V, Holy Roman Emperor during the 16th century after the local rulers of the city supported him during the Revolt of the Comuneros. On the facade of the arch appear people of importance to the city of Burgos and Castile, such as Diego Rodríguez Porcelos, the founder of the city; Jueces de Castilla; Laín Calvo and Nuño Rasura; El Cid; Fernán González; and Charles V himself.
...After standing in the line at the Broad for 30 minutes, we were granted admission, and it was on to the escalator and up to the third floor main gallery...

Detail of a sliding door at the entryway to the Takayama Jinya in Takayama, Japan.
The Takayama Jinya is a former local government office in the city of Takayama, in Japan's mountainous Gifu prefecture. It was in official use from 1692 to 1969, and is the only remaining building of its type in Japan today. It is now a National Historic Site and is open as a nicely maintained museum.

I love idea of redesigning Batman villains!
Here's my rendition of Catwoman.

Saylina Kayl-
The main inspiration was from Egyptian Cats. I figured why not make Catwoman Egyptian inspired.
The torso, legs, and head were all fully painted by me. I tried adding a royal necklace of sorts, maybe something she stole.
Her helmet is the old Catwoman helmet, with details painted on. The claws are a cut chain piece glued to the hand.
The main focus is the Arabic words scattered around the figure.
Huge thanks to Scott Blankfield who suggested adding something above her eyes.
Above her eyes says Cat in Arabic.
Across her eyeholes says "woman".
And her torso says claws, if read sideways.
Anyways, I'm really satisfied with how she came out!
Thanks!

... hmm... I might have to make this one my entry, instead of the "Scout"...
Dolphin going back into the water up at Chanonry Point after a great breach. Luckily enough to get all the sequence of images from exit to entry. These were published in our national papers . The Scottish sun and the daily Record, nice when that happens.
