Eastern Market Sunday

To be honest, Eastern Market on a late Sunday afternoon with Stay-at-Home orders isn't much different than Eastern Market on any other late Sunday afternoon.

Happy 250th, y'all... :)

...found it in the cold dead eyes of an empty street.

Somewhere along the Rhine.

The cherry blossoms line the empty streets at sunset in Vancouver.

I had a specific hope from this sunrise shoot of the Buttercross in Brigg, North Lincolnshire, and that was to capture the sun rising at the end of the street on the left (Wrawby Street). But unfortunately there was an annoying slither of cloud on the horizon and by the time it cleared, the sun had moved too far to the right. Maybe I’ll be luckier another time.

Shot as a 5 shot panorama (each bracketed) with my Tilt Shift, and stitched in Lightroom. The highlights on the front of the building are due to spotlights above the upper windows.

The Buttercross, historically was the Brigg Town Hall, but is now used as a tourist information centre and as an events venue.

A quiet moment down a backstreet in New Westminster.

Josh and I stopped in a small town called Rheda Wiedenbrucke on our way to Cologne, Germany. The streets were empty, and that added to this historic beauty.

It was as if we stepped into a time machine.

Taking pictures of all the things this week that I've wanted to do for a long time but haven't. Such as this.

Day two of owning my new Nikon, but unfortunately the rain would be pouring all afternoon. I still wanted to go out, so I improvised some sort of rain jacket for my camera, pulled my poncho from the drawer and out I went! The rain adds so much more to everything so I'm pleased with the result. Now I'm enjoying a cup of tea trying to get my feet warm!
