The Empty Skies monument, to the 746 New Jersey residents who were killed in the September 11, 2001 attacks. New Jersey was the home of 1/4 of the people killed - only New York had more. Each monument is 208 feet and 10 inches long - the same length as a side of the trade towers. They are about 30 feet high, and as you walk between the two of them, you see the trade center site directly ahead.
Taken at Liberty State Park, Jersey City, New Jersey, across the Hudson River. Hazy, foggy, drizzly conditions tonight, with low cloud cover. Ten year anniversary. It doesn't feel like 10 years.
The Back Garden.
There are 6 houses along the main road all owned by the same people. They are all empty apart from 1 where my moms old neighbours still live. They kindly let me into their back garden to allow me to capture this shot. It is impossible to get any closer to the house as the garden has now become a jungle with nettles that have grown so much that they now almost reach the upstairs bathroom window. The windows at the front and the side lead into my moms old bathroom. The third window belonged to my brother and sister. The nets that are visible in that window are the only things my mom left behind in this house.
'Empty Hole'.
Anamorphic streetart made at Upfest in Bristol UK. This 3d streetpainting measures around 40 square meters and has been created on the parking lot of the Tobacco Factory.
Empty Sky is the official New Jersey September 11 memorial to the state's victims of the September 11 attacks on the United States. It is located in Liberty State Park in Jersey City at the mouth of Hudson River across from the World Trade Center site.

Do birds suffer from Empty Nest Syndrome? I wonder if this nest was home to some birds last spring or was it built to be used this year. I didn't want to disturb it just to see; although I could see there were no eggs in it.
My mind seems to be just empty at the moment - no creative ideas, no nothing, which is quite worrying for someone who has graduated in Photography!
At the moment I'm just browsing through other people's photostreams and trying to get ideas and inspiration, which is working to an extent.. I have seen some amazing work! You know who you are as I've commented and faved your pictures. Hopefully, after some time relaxing, I'll manage to get back into photography properly and update my photostream with something new :)
More names...so many.

A rake of empties arrives at the main yard of the Baishui coal mine. The loco will run round and then propel them to the loader, before picking up another rake that has already been loaded.
I ran into these men, wearing tuxedos, carrying empty wood frames.
I don't know what they were here for, i only stayed for 20 minutes, observing them standing still then moving to another spot.
