My wife and I were able to go shopping to replace some supplies that had been lost during Hurricane Matthew. When we got to the freezers at Sam's they were all totally empty. Guessing they too lost all of their meat and refrigerated items.
I ran into these men, wearing tuxedos, carrying empty wood frames.
I don't know what they were here for, i only stayed for 20 minutes, observing them standing still then moving to another spot.
Charleston, SC's Slave Market empty and quiet at night. During the day it is filled with vendors selling all sort of arts and crafts. No slaves were ever actually bought and sold at the Slave Market. It is named so because it was the market where slaves were allowed to partake in trade.
It's a feeling of being blank and you tend to look around and say "hey, I feel incomplete" but the positive thing about it is you can't be filled up unless you're empty. So recharge, refill! Don't go on feeling empty.

Early days yet, but not much happening in 2007 apparently. A notice board at the ancieng or ancient, (thanks Pat!) grave field in Jordbro.
You know, on Flickr, I see pictures from people who live in exotic places all over the world. Then when I look around Watford, I have to ask - "How could it possibly get any better than this?"
I took an afternoon out from data analysis for my TLA research to nip down to Lyme, for a blast of fresh (and, hopefully, not too wet) air. We dodged the rain on the way, and once there found it sunny and dry, though not particularly hot.
Wandering down into the town, spotted another empty shop: this looks as though it's becoming a sort of mini-series.

"I want you to be left behind those empty walls
Taught you to see from behind those empty walls"
Long wait after school, lots of photos taken. The hall floors are so flat.

My mind seems to be just empty at the moment - no creative ideas, no nothing, which is quite worrying for someone who has graduated in Photography!
At the moment I'm just browsing through other people's photostreams and trying to get ideas and inspiration, which is working to an extent.. I have seen some amazing work! You know who you are as I've commented and faved your pictures. Hopefully, after some time relaxing, I'll manage to get back into photography properly and update my photostream with something new :)
Looking back at the interior of Ypsilanti State Hospital from 2005.
The property has just been demolished to become a parking lot for a Toyota complex.
Empty lot next to CAPA (High School For Creative & Performing Arts) at Broad and Washington, South Philly in October 2020. For an empty lot in mid-autumn, it has a lot of nice plants and wildflowers growing, including a vine home to honeybees.
On a hot afternoon, there are almost no other people outside. It is mainly tourists that brave the mid-day heat.
