Empty shop on King Street, Ramsgate, Kent. Look to have been empty for a long time.

Being that the little red house has a couple broken windows, we can look inside. It's not overly exciting, is it?

Empty which is a personal feeling like any lonliness, space, shadows and circumstance doing to me is a psychological process going through my mind every day and night. I keep on isolating myself as an alien or a stranger in order to photograph scenes around me empty, even if I am in a big city with a large population.

This giant stack of empty containers, is just one of many such piles in the Newark, NJ area. An amazing fact is that, it's cheaper to make new ones in Asia, than to ship the empties back.

Of course if we exported something other than money, they'd have a use.

Is it possible to take an interesting photo of an empty rubbish bin? The "Our Daily Challenge" was "WHILE YOU WERE SLEEPING" - which is when the city emptied the garbage and recycling bins that had been set out on the street.

This is the room my son's bedroom. Still empty "surprisingly" since he bought he own home and moved out October 29, 2011. He and his father are proud of me that I have not started filling it up yet. I do have plans to move my sewing room here.

Please leave a comment I do appreciate them and lets me know what people think. I have so many photos and almost no comments. It also lets me know what pictures are best.

This empty lot is next to the two buildings from the previous pictures. Note the Bizzani sign on the fence. They are a development firm with a good reputation and have worked on many of the projects in the area including their own offices a few blocks down the street.

There was a lot of talk during London 2012's early days of rows of empty seats. Here's a photo I captured at Wimbledon which tries to make the point, although to be honest it wasn't as big a deal as they were making out.

What shall we use

To fill the empty spaces

Where we used to talk?

How shall I fill

The final places?

How should I complete the wall...

the new streetscape

Some empty bottles of liquer, whisky and sake. I like the look of the bottles too much to just recycle them. Techniques used: color, contrast, cropping, depth of field.
