Every year a wonderful music festival takes place in Fürth. Almost every year we are there too. It is a relaxed, peaceful, happy atmosphere and some festival visitors meet you and often again in front of the stage. It is very family and friendly. That's the reason for this festival.
In 2019 wonderful music groups were engaged; I think it was the best lineup ever to enjoy in Fürth. One of these wonderful bands was "Soul Serenade" from Romania. Before, I had never heard the three young musicians, after the concert I was completely thrilled. The sympathetic charisma of the musicians showed their effect in all, and Adelina, the singer, managed to thrill the audience.
After their performance, I saw the band in the audience, listening to the next artist.
I knew I had to address her and ask her if she would become part of the Human Family Project.
Adelina was very friendly and was spontaneously ready to be photographed. We did not have much time for the photos and certainly not for an interview because the band had to go backstage. Nevertheless, Adelina was very patient and accommodating. We took the photos next to the stage and arranged that I send my interview questions to Adelina by e-mail. Said and done.
Back home, I formulated my questions and sent them to Adelina. Since of course the band was constantly on tour, the answer took some time, but that was not bad at all. Of course, the job is going on. Nevertheless, we were in contact and now I have received a wonderful mail, with all the answers to my questions.

1. How did you come to music? How long do you make music and when did you form the "Soul Serenade".
Music and I go far back to as I can remember. I can say that I wanted to sing when I was 3 years old and I'm glad to that 23 years later I feel the same way (I see a lot of the number three now that I'm talking about it hahah). I started studying music when I was 13 and at 17, me and my boyfriend, Andrei Rotariu - the guitar player, formed a band initially called "Ada&Rotto", that later on became the trio... "Soul Serenade" (with Codruț Andrei on mandolin).
2. Do you have a musical role model?
Of course. All of the music I love listening to is shaping my road on this trip. I would say though, that my musical role model is not a musician, but a painter, Van Gogh (his work speaks to me in colours that I hope one day I'll be able to transcribe in sounds).
3. Where do you get your inspiration when making music?
I don't really get to pick where I get my inspiration from, because I'm like a sponge that absorbs whatever's around. That can be from life experiences, the art that I have seen and read about, history, our current times, the beautiful places that I've visited, the beautiful people that I've met, or maybe the bad, anything that catches my eye, my nose, my ear, musically, harmonically, or even noise wise (I've learned that from musicians like John Cage).
4. How would you describe yourself?
I would describe myself as an empath, a music lover, and a cat enthusiast.
5. What is important to you in life?
Wow, I was not expecting to make such a deep introspection within myself haha! I don't really know how to answer that, but I think the most important thing to me is to make a difference into this world and to not lose focus on that. Helping humans get in touch with themselves, with their true nature. I feel like the modern world has created a rupture between who we really are and what society asks from us... basically forgetting to be children again. I think that's one of the reasons why I chose to be a musician, because you have to constantly learn, grow and be playful. Of course, this requires for me to be that person and to be true to what I say, so it's a favour and a challenge towards myself first.
6. What was your biggest challenge in life?
Growing up.
7. Are you happy? And how do you determine this / what does happiness mean personally to you?
I am happy, but everybody's happy is different. I don't know how that counts statistically and how to measure it. Happiness has so many colours and I don't know if I'm striving to be mostly happy. Sadness can teach you so many lessons. Ying and yang. Can't really say what happiness means to me, but I can tell you what it feels like: a rainbow, a large spectrum that has lighter and darker colours.
8. Where do you want to be in 10 years? (this does not necessarily mean a place, but a life goal, a lifelong dream, a perspective).
10 years from now I see myself doing what I'm doing now, but better and more efficiently. By that time, I want meet and play with all of my favourite musicians. And also be a decent bass player hahaha.
9. Do you have a life motto?
I really don't, but if I did have one, I would probably say, "listen to your gut feeling". That shouldn't let you down, but also take care of that gut bacteria, get some yummy nutritious food for yourself!! Hahah

10. What would you want to give the other people (your age) on the way?
I want to give people my age, but actually all ages, hope, and a reassurance that whenever you feel like you can't, you can. (Look at Greta Thunberg, she's only 16 and she doesn't even think about giving up!). The force is strong!

Ember is the 4th character in the Shadowlands collection, based on science fiction writings by the the author who commissioned the doll.
Ember is an empath healer with the gift of Sight. We find her on a desert planet oasis, dressing the finaries of her tropical island home: a flowing spidersilk gown and jewellery to adorn her body. She wears little bells around her ankles that tinkle as she walks.
The OOAK art doll is Inamorata 2.0 Charo with Busty body in Latte resin. Her pale skin is sunkissed and covered in freckles. The mohair wig is deep red has a complex braid pattern and gold hair ornaments. Her costume consists of a translucent silk gown of cream interwoven with gold threads, with matching sandals, a golden body harness decorated with natural stone beads, and the emerald green lingerie decorated with gold rings and beaded with Japanese glass beads.

Cette Echasse blanche à pris en chasse ce Milan noir avec beaucoup de courage, et on peut la comprendre car il lui a volé un de ses poussins.
Sans aucune peur, elle l'a affronté en vol de manière très déterminée, même s'il était déjà trop tard à l'instant
même ou le rapace avait refermé ses serres sur le petit.
Elle l'a poursuivi un long moment, lui donnant de grand coup de bec entre les deux ailes.
J'avais déjà pu observer le courage de ces oiseaux qui semblent si fragiles au Parc Ornithologique du Pont de Gau
quand ils ont le sentiment que les visiteurs sont trop près de leur progéniture. Elles savant se positionner entre l'homme et leurs petits et faire diversion pour attirer l'attention sur elles.
Ici, le Milan a réussi à attraper un repas, pour se nourrir lui même ou pour ses poussins, mais on voit aussi les échasses partir en chasse des prédateurs dès lors qu'elles les voient roder dans une trop grande proximité.
Ce sont des scènes qui ne sont pas forcément agréables à voir, car nous avons tendance à nous placer en
empathie avec le plus faible, et de plus les rapaces ne sont pas toujours appréciés (assez injustement d'ailleurs, mais
c'est le cas pour beaucoup d'animaux et essentiellement les prédateurs).
Pour autant, mieux vaux ne jamais intervenir car la nature est bien faite si l'on la laisse faire.
Par exemple au Canada, les Loups ont été réintroduits dans les espaces ou vivent les Caribous, car sans les Loups, les Caribous se reproduisaient de manière considérable, et détruisait la couverture forestière. Depuis que les Loups ont été réintroduits, l'équilibre à repris sa place. Il n'est plus nécessaire à l'homme d'intervenir, et la forêt reprend sa place également.
Il est vrai que la nature peut sembler cruelle, mais soyons réalistes !
Nous, humains, nous tuons chaque année 60 milliards d'animaux terrestres et 1000 milliards d'animaux marins pour notre consommation.
Alors certes, ce sont les pêcheurs et les abattoirs qui font ce travail, mais dès lors que nous mangeons viande et poisson,
nous pouvons considérer agir de la même manière que ce rapace. Lui au moins n'a probablement conscience d'induire de la souffrance dans son acte. Il ne tue que pour survivre !
Les rapaces sont mal aimés car souvent mal connus.
Ils sont pourtant indispensables et nettoient admirablement la nature.
Beaucoup d'entre eux sont nécrophages (La nécrophagie est le fait de manger des cadavres) et sont justement peu aimés
pour cette raison. Pourtant c'est bien ce que fait l'humain également à ce que je sache... de manger des cadavres !

I went to the store this morning and as I walked through the store, I smelled the faint smell of a broken sewer line. As I turned the corner, I found that smell was from someone in a wheelchair being pushed through the store. They had no legs, wore gloves and a make-shift face mask, and I could see they were in dire need of care. The person with them was a registered nurse, so in some degree they were taken care of, but I just wanted to reach out and hug them- hold their hand and tell them I could read every degree of pain, hurt, and fear- tell them that it would be okay and there was hope… but I could not.
As I walked through the store all I could think of was how much I wanted to do something- anything. Before I could find them and offer to help pay for their groceries they had already checked out and were on their way out. After I checked out I went to my truck and sat for a good ten minutes just overcome with emotion. Four hours later, it’s just as real…

"A few weeks ago I was listening to a talk on Mindful Intelligence. The teacher was a former Buddhist monk who lived in Burma and worked with political prisoners. He talked about the use of creativity and courage in mindfulness and used an example of an artist to demonstrate how we can pick and choose emotional states similarly to how an artist can blend and diffuse color on a paint palette. I'm an empath and I experience a lot of the world through people's emotions so this was super interesting to me.
From the talk, I learned that I can transmute anger (red) to love (pink) by simply bringing in the feeling of forgiveness (white). I can increase the vibrancy of an emotion by intensifying the color. And when I'm feeling extra creative, I blend multiple colors together to experience a new combination of feelings that I never knew existed."

However, larger amounts of energy cause Surge Protector to release violent blasts of energy from his body if not contained by his power suit. If Surge Protector absorbs too much power, his body will transform temporarily into pure living energy.
Weapons: An advanced containment suit that allows Surge Protector to use his powers safely. His suit, when charged, grants him advanced strength and the power of flight. The suit can also direct and focus his energy blasts.
