A Flickr friend commented that Olivia has amazingly graceful hands. As an accomplished dancer her hands act to convey emotion. When interviewing her for the modeling position, we discussed how dancers and photographic models both attempt to do the same thing.

his face, weathered like old leather, told stories no words could reach. from the street, i caught a glimpse of him—his hands folded, his gaze steady, as if lost between memory and the present. the café den coll, open to the street, framed the scene like a stage. he spoke to another man, but his thoughts seemed miles away. i focused my lens on him, drawn to the weight of his silence, the years etched in his features. the slate beside him bore the words "se feliz," a handwritten reminder, almost ironic in its quiet boldness. perhaps it’s the simplest wisdom, the hardest to follow: be happy.

But that makes human more stronger ....

This shoot with Dinara was a little problematic. It was a cold day, and it got colder as the shooting went on. As it was a sunday, many places were closed, so we had to make the shooting outdoor. That was not so pleasant for the model, and noticing that fact gave me frustation. Dinara is a " deadpan" model, it is not easy to understand how she feels, she did not show much emotion, or at least not much as I have expected. It was only AFTER the shoot when I try to select and edit the images, where I realized that she was a deadpan model and her emotions were exactly how it should be- her soft and tender way of emotions was not something I have realized during the shoot.

Not really an old time photo but just playing with a texture that reminded me of some winter time emotions on the darker days. There is always a bit of warmth, light, and hope even on the darkest of days thankfully. A bit different for me definitely but since I played with it and could relate... here it is, reality and all.

Have always remembered the display of affection and happiness between these two penguins at the San Francisco Zoo.

Madame Thebault, eine damals gefeierte Schauspielerin, ist die “Mutter” der Jardins d’Étretat. Sie pflanzte 1905 den ersten Baum auf einer der Klippen des normannischen Seebades Étretat. Das war der Beginn eines beeindruckenden Parks. Der international angesehene Landschaftsarchitekt Alexandre Grivko schuf hier unterschiedlichen Räumen, die von der Kunst und der Natur inspiriert sind.

Ein besonderes Highlight ist der “Jardins Emotion” des Bildhauers Samuel Salcedo. Sieben steinernde Köpfe sanft eingebettet in Sträuchern zeigen verschiedene Emotionen. Wer also eine Reise in die Normandie plant, sollte sich etwas Zeit einplanen, um diesen wunderschönen Park zu besuchen.
