when taking this photo, I found that:
1. it is still very hard to capture a mohair goodie
2. Emerald looks even shorter than she is in this dress
3. nevertheless, she's quite happy to have it on
4. I am addicted to frilly edges
5. I should put this on a blythe later
6. she needs a fluffy hat, possibly a long pointed one like her other witch hats
7. she does not blame me not placing my bid on the three sets of her original outfits on ebay
8. but she is a bit lonely and needs either a black cat or a sister
Just above tree line you come to the Emerald Lake Overlook. I actually had cell service and was able to Face Time with my family from high on the mountain!
Taken at my Grandparents 55th (emerald) anniversary in April this year. Who said love doesn't last?

The Emerald Princess at her berth at Port Everglades preparing for a ten day cruise to the Caribbean.
Wat Phra Kaew (Temple of the Emerald Buddha), Chiang Rai, was named for the the green gemstone (jade rather than emerald) buddha image which was found there when lightning struck the chedi and cracked it open in 1434.
