Hello my amazing Flickr friends !!
Today is an orange day at Color my World Daily and the theme at Crazy Tuesday is Embroidery. Today’s picture is a vintage leather glove I got from my mother in law. Of course, my mother in law gave me 2 gloves but I just took a picture of one. Those gloves are very delicate and have this awesome flowers embroidery. They are made from a very soft and white leather. The gloves are super tiny so of course, my huge man hands will never fit inside, even if I lose a crazy amount of weight. The Embroidery is very colourful and beautiful as you can see. I hope you will like it as much as I do. And since I’m a hoarder, I will keep those tiny gloves for ever….even if they will never fit me. I don’t know for you but this picture gives me Adams Family vibes, and I love it !

Today's theme for "Crazy Tuesday" is "embroidery". I based this on one of my chaffinch in flight photographs. The background fabrics were printed with acrylic paint and I've free motion machine embroidered and hand stitched the chaffinch.

For those of you know who follow my images, you'll know that Niqui is a very talented needle crafter. This is one of her embroidery pieces, featuring French Knots, Double Cast On and Buttonhole Cast On Stitches, along with Bullion Stitch and the aptly named Leaf Stitch, all in silk threads.

Close up of embroidery (within the 3” rule) on my trusty Summer handbag. I bought it at Océanopolis in Brittany, France almost 11 years ago (our last proper holiday). It goes into the washing machine each Autumn & gets stored until the following May. This bag has featured in Macro Mondays before 3 years ago but I thought it would work OK for today’s theme of "curves" so it’s getting another airing HMM!
