crank it thru. I found that spritzing isn't necessary when using the shim for the embossing folders

Cuttlebug - Congratulations

Faux leather heat press embossing - in order to emboss the leather, I laser cut a design out of thin cardboard. Placed the cardboard over the faux leather and held the leather under the heat press for 20 seconds, leaving a permanent indentation of my design. After this, I applied gold paint over the indentation. This really brought out the design.

I've always meant to knit this pattern, and this springy yellow-green is perfect for it. I can see why the pattern is so popular, it's addictive.

These turned out a little big but I really like them still!

not sure what the invention of the embossing telegraph (edison) did for the telegraph industry. but given that it was somewhat noisy in a peculiar way, it lead to the invention of the phonograph. the invention of the phonograph did quite a bit for the recording industry. telegraphy may have paid the bills, but that was not where the payoff was.

Single overhead white light. The mehendi green color from blue filter was a stroke of serendipity. Using a blue filter to attain this gave a better saturation than using the green filter of MS PH Editor. The b/w background was obtained from

UL PhotoImpact1.

I used the Big Shot and a Fiskars Texture Plate. The one on the right that looks more deeply embossed was spritzed with water first.

Finally knit these - had been wanting to knit them for years. Done and they fit perfectly.
