I just looooved this pattern! Any pattern that this tattered old brain can memorize is a keeper :) The yarn, Schoeller+Stahl Fortissima Socka Cotton, is a lovely wool/cotton blend that feels wonderful again the skin and is ideal for the warmer months ahead. And how can one go wrong with denim blue?

We put this up-it wasn't easy.

First completed socks for sos08. Cherry Tree Hill Supersock Potluck in Water. I used 5 dpn's and the Magic Loop method using size 1 needles. Started on June 21, 2008 and finished on July 4, 2008. Women's size 9 1/2 for me.

my 2nd attempt at the emboss resist technique. need to work on it more and find the versafine emboss ink pad. my M's didn't have it so i had to settle with a tinted emboss ink pad. i didn't know it was going to dry in a tint of pink....i thought they would be like those purple glue sticks for kids that disappear after drying. [NOT so much!]
