Embossed Leaves socks from IK winter 2005. Learning the magic loop technique.

Embossed Leaves socks from Interweave Knits' Favorite Socks. Knit with Dream in Color Smooshy in Spring Tickle colorway using 2mm needles.

This is the neat nique project from Aug 28 at Cherish The Thought. The black and white photo printed on shiny cardstock is hand coloured on one of the roses with pencil crayon and blended with a paper stump.

Here is a card which I made with the stamp from HA Butterfly Field which matches very well with the weather right now - it feels almost like spring! The image is stamped on a vellum and is heat embossed with baby pink powder. If you look closely, there is another layer of colours underneath this vellum which gives a lovely spring color to the field!

Gyeongbokgung Palace, Seoul, South Korea

Built in 1395, Gyeongbokgung Palace is also commonly referred to as the Northern Palace because its location is furthest north when compared to the neighboring palaces of Changdeokgung (Eastern Palace) and Gyeonghuigung (Western Palace) Palace. Gyeongbokgung Palace is arguably the most beautiful, and remains the largest of all five palaces. The premises were once destroyed by fire during the Imjin War (Japanese Invasions, 1592-1598). However, all of the palace buildings were later restored under the leadership of Heungseondaewongun during the reign of King Gojong (1852-1919).

Remarkably, the most representative edifices of the Joseon Dynasty, Gyeonghoeru Pavilion and Hyangwonjeong Pond have remained relatively intact. Woldae and the sculptures of Geunjeongjeon (The Royal Audience Chamber) represent past sculptures of contemporary art. The National Palace Museum of Korea is located south of Heungnyemun Gate, and the National Folk Museum is located on the eastern side within Hyangwonjeong.

Embossed wreath

One of my new Couture Creations embossing folders. I tried embossing onto some parchment type paper. Not sure I like how I did the sentiment. It needs something more, but not sure what.... seriously think it's going in the bin!

This card made yesterday at Cherish The Thought uses the Cuttlebug Blooming Bouquet Embossing Plus folder on shiny card stock. The edge is coloured with Momories re-inkers on an application tool and blending solution. This is layered on green cardstock and then onto a red card base, with green ribbon and gold cord for trim.

Flowers crinkled and embossed. Beads on wire form the centers.

I think this was a thank you card I sent to a friend
