Buffalo has 2 old brick elevators that I thought were pretty cool.

Pioneer grain elevator at sunset.

The original structure of the Lacerda Elevator (Salvador), below left, was inaugurated in 1873 and served as model for the Santa Justa Elevator in Lisboa, which opened in 1902. The Lacerda Elevator was electrified in 1907 and enlarged and rebuilt in 1930: below right. Its "bridge" is 72 m / 236 ft above the street.

There's nothing quite like seeing an elevator that has smashed into a stone floor. Obviously this was done on purpose, and adds a nice piece of character to Liverpool shopping centre.

It was a pleasure to end our long road trip day in Harlowton Montana. The town is truly charming and so historic! I just love how many historic buildings remain standing in town, each one so amazing and unique. Please enjoy the history of this wonderful town which was such a prominent stop on the Milwaukee road.

"The city was once the eastern terminus of electric operations (1914–74) of the Milwaukee Road railroad's "Pacific Extension" route, which went all the way to Avery, Idaho. Here, steam or diesel locomotives were changed or hooked up to electric locomotives. Harlowton was founded in 1900 as a station stop on the Montana Railroad, a predecessor to the Milwaukee, and was named for Richard A. Harlow, the Montana Railroad's president." -wikipedia.com

Chewing the stick seems to have given him a case of "elevator butt". lol.

Actually he's just ready to bolt should I "threaten" his possession of his stick.

He adores showing me how fat and ungainly i am compared to his youthful and lithe athletic self.

The snot.

LOL!
