Saw this beautiful cock chaffinch up the Forest Of Dean!!Stunning little birds in their own right but would of been nice to of seen A Hawfinch lol.Thanks to everyone that comments ,faves and offers help and advice all are very much appreciated Regards Clive

Painted lady hanging out with the bee but very short lived. I don't remember getting a shot of a bee and a butterfly on the same flower before.

The formation on the left is known as a Tufa. Formed by minerals when this whole scene was under 8 feet of water.

There are lovely colourful beach huts at Mundesley, Mary brightens them up a bit more.

Locally mistle thrushes seem as jumpy as magpies they fly off at the slightest thing .So happy to get this through A gap in A dense hedge using the car as cover.Thanks to everyone that takes the time and makes the effort to comment, fave and advice me all is very much appreciated !!

Sparrowhawk at RSPB Lochwinnoch.

 

After several years of having the staff at Lochwinnoch say to me on my arrival you have just missed the Sparrowhawk, to the point that I thought there was no Sparrowhawk. Today I finally saw the beast itself

 

Not to bad for a through the glass shot.
