I bought a pair of Wellington boots today :)! And guess what, I marched my way through rotting bloody sea weeds and waterpools to catch these patterns and colours. Oh boy it was exciting, overpowering the elements to get close to the elements. I have got some more exciting stuff from here.

Golden Plover & Knot at Barassie. Ayrshire

The blackbird was sunning itself on some dry soil in the flower bed. It bathed for a few minutes had a wander in the shrubs and then came back to the same spot on 3 - 4 occassions. Alaways adopting the same position with its mouth wide open. - Perhaps to lose heat?

The people riding on this Tower Twirl are invisible as they speed by at the top of the tower. A fun look at a fun ride.

I decided to make my way to Ottawa our nation's capital to skate on the Rideau canal and of course to take photos and see the sights. I understand it was too cold down south to hold the inauguration outdoors. -18 C with a bit of a wind here, standing around to watch a parade verses walking or skating makes all the difference
