I must admit that, despite all the tools I have, the Wife Acceptance Factor parameter is, sometimes, a little tricky to adjust. (Especially when a Delivery occurs... it means a 20-30 kg parcel from Germany, Poland or any other eastern country filled with this kind of stuff... all opened up in the living room... each part needing to be examined, cleaned, listed, and disassembled to see what's inside...)
I was a big Heathkit fan. Other kits included GR-680 Color TV (tube type), GR2502 Color TV, H-89 Computer, IO-103 O'scope, and AR-15 Stereo Receiver (which I still have and use).

Look at all those volts!
The backdrop is a rare glimpse into the magical process of development à la Wibatt. I copied and tweaked the power supply section from Dieter the Nixie Man's IN-1 clock schematic, printed it out, then did a bit of fiddling around to get a general idea of whether all the parts would fit on the little board (half of a Radio Shack 276-148, snapped along the handy perforation). They did, so I did a further bit of fiddling to find a reasonable layout so that the parts that needed to connect to one another were near each other, and so on. Not too much, because this project is all about not spending all my time planning.
Then, I just did a bunch of soldering, using the schematic as a guide, until I figured it was done. Then I went through all the connections in the schematic, making sure they all existed - I'd overlooked a couple - and crossing them off. Then, I made sure none of the bits that weren't supposed to touch were shorted together, and THEN it was time to test it. The result? Volts! Lots and lots of volts yay!

Originally, I wanted to do a macro series of every Intel Pentium Processor chip that has been created, or perhaps more of a chronology of computer processing chips, but I was unable to obtain them in time for a class project I was doing this for. So, these are various parts to electronic devices such as remote controls, alarm clocks, computer keyboards, etc. I used a 60mm macro w/ an extension tube and primarily lit them from behind with a flash gun and filled in the front with on-cam flash.

A mysterious viewfinder camera of the 60s ( I wish to know the release date, but couldn't find out yet ), using the "Electric Eye" technology. It has a perfectly working auto exposure function, when the camera chooses both - shutter speed and aperture, based on a selenium meter measuring.
No battery necessary, no electronics inside ... a true technical marvel of that time.
Less than the smart phone. The PC it was purchased in November 2015. Because it was half price at the time sale of Amazon, impulse buying without any purpose. When you try to use to try while you are out to repair the main PC, Web, of course, to the movie is seen, in use as a sub-PC because Nikon NX-D was also moving.
Another fun box camera that I picked up for a couple of bucks. After a thorough cleaning , everything seems to be working fine on this beauty, even though the front shows some wear! I tried to find some info on this baby and this is what I found...
