A Russian Electro-Harmonix 6V6GT on the left and a Slovak JJ 6V6S on the right. You can clearly see that the two tubes aren't much alike. For one thing the JJ is much larger physically. Which sounds best? Ah, good question. Heh...kinda.
This is the first revision that I setup. When I tested this there was significant hum which was caused by the Timefactor and DE7. I tried everything I could to get this to work, and it just would not.
There was also significant tone issues caused by the stacked buffers after the java boost.
I must've spent 3 hours trying to get this configuration to work, but in the end I want good tone over "what makes the most sense at first."
