Sadly, a victim of electrocution, this young one will likely never fly. Hopefully, we can get a permit to keep him as an education bird, because he won't be released...

On November 15, 1996, Ellis Wayne Felkner was executed by electrocution in Georgia at the age of 48. Felkner was a suspect in the 1981 disappearance of Georgia woman Evelyn Joy Ludlum. While put on under 2 week police surveillance, Ludlum’s raped, stabbed and murdered body was found in a creek; an autopsy found that she had been dead for five days. However, this information was later changed after realizing this would eliminate Felkner as a suspect. In 1996, boxes of evidence were discovered by Felkner’s attorneys that had been unlawfully withheld by the prosecution, including DNA evidence and a written confession by another suspect. Felkner was denied a new trial by the Georgia Supreme court. Felkner has been presumed innocent. Did he deserve to die?

When my dad took out the aluminum door, we discovered two things:
1. why they did not screw the top of the door jam into the framing.
2. the fact that this house has not caught fire in the 21+ years that this house is nothing short of a miracle.
Please, people, do not attempt building additions if you have no idea what you're doing. Especially if you dont have permits and inspections along the way.
In this picture, you can see the brown singe marks from when the builders electrocuted themselves. The sad part is that they did this twice....

I'm really worried about this guy. It looks like he went up a hydro pole to do some routine maintenance and got electrocuted. No one has noticed, they weren't working on a buddy system.
one of the two chestnut headed bee eaters I found dead outside my house gate 40 kms off Mangalore. This bird along with another were probably electrocuted on contact with some power lines passing across the gate

Parade in honor of a stray cat that was electrocuted when it wandered into the wrong place in a Entergy power substation, knocking out power for thousands in New Orleans. One of the most absurd concepts for a local event I've participated in. From Markey Park, Bywater, to R Bar in upper Marigny, New Orleans.
