Louvred doors to the electrical substation for a building, for easy access for maintenance engineers. Everything else seems to be also mounted on this wall - alarm bells, units, triggers. This is the wall to modern residential condos with a supermarket and cafes on the ground floor.
We're off to the Lizard Cornwall tomorrow, so in my mind these are the sort on skies that await us . This was about the same time last year, so there's always a chance. Electrical Kittens is a great track from the new British Sea Power album, and is bizarre enough to fit this bizarre sky.
Here you are some electricity charge, above the mountains, due to a night thunderstorm.
Here are not clearly visible the lightnings, as shown in a previous shot of mine, titled "Lightning in the Mirror", but the electric charge in the cloud is evident ... and I find particularly evocative the general atmosphere that had arisen between the Dents d'Ambin (3.372 m) and the Roche d'Etache (3.083 m), France.

Disneyland's nightly parade of floats and entertainers that march down Mainstreet. I've always wanted my own shot of this iconic parade and would have preferred a different vantage point but was pretty happy with the result.

As is usually the case my series are broken up into mini themes for each day. Here we have some businesses related to the primary means of transport these days - the car.
Behind this auto electrical workshop is an empty lot. It used to be a popular used car sales lot. As you can see, "Cheap Cars". Only problem was that with supply problems for new cars in the post-pandemic period prices for second hand cars went through the roof (remember Australia now imports all its vehicles - we make nothing in this country anymore!). So the used car yard is empty and waiting to be sold off - expensive real estate, too expensive to sell cheap cars from.
I was at my sister's house recently for a feast of food excellently prepared and smoked by her son. This tiny hut is on her property, and I believe it is where she raised most of her children, though she referred to it as an electrical house. The son with the huge smoker was better brought up than the rest, none of whom can compete with his ribs, brisket, chicken or sauces. The holes in the roof were caused as the kids grew taller. The roof moss was the only insulation and sometimes food.
