So sieht Einstein nach einer Woche Kuraufenthalt im Hof mit Vollpension aus - sehr zum Leidwesen Oscars, der das Haus hüten muss. Einstein unternimmt jetzt die ersten Flugversuche! Ob er jemals wegfliegen wird, steht in den Sternen. Der Friseurbesuch jedenfalls steht noch an! - That´s Einstein after a week "all you can eat" in our courtyard unfortunately for Oscar, who is under house arrest! Einstein makes his first flights but It's always in the stars the time he leaves us.
If Einstein was right, spacetime can be bent; it then follows, at least in theory, that time can be bent. A flower's eye view of the phenomenon ... hold on to your petals, and watch out for parallel universes! ;-)

El origen de la población fue una antigua masía árabe que explotaba unas antiguas minas de plata. Los primeros documentos escritos sobre Alforja son de 1152 donde aparece citada en un pergamino de Ramón Berenguer IV. En 1158 fue concedida el acta de población en favor de Ramón de Ganagot con la obligación de que creara una población que facilitara el control de la zona, recientemente reconquistada a las tropas sarracenas. El pueblo debía recibir el nombre de Santa Maria de la Vall d'Alforja (en español, Santa María del Valle de Alforja).
En 1243 el término quedó en manos del monasterio de Bonrepòs aunque ese mismo año fueron compradas sus tierras para formar parte de la baronía de Alforja, también en manos del clero. Entre 1283 y 1393 se instaló en el pueblo una importante comunidad judía que formó su propio barrio. El pueblo de Alforja se vio en la necesidad de pagar al rey Juan I un perdón real en 1393. Compensaban así los excesos que se habían cometido con la población judía.

Sunday I got a chance to shoot make-up & hair artist Jennifer Ziliotto with fellow photographer Brian Fletcher. We started shooting more natural shots for her cosmetic line Naked Eye Beauty, but towards the end took several mood shots in front of this cool (and somewhat creepy) tree.
It seems I have kept myself busy in Jan with photography related things. Now I just need to makes sure I keep it up this month.

It is located in central Washington, D.C., United States, in a grove of trees at the southwest corner of the grounds of the National Academy of Sciences at 2101 Constitution Avenue N.W., near the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. Two replicas exist at the Israel Academy of Sciences and Humanities and the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Moments of happiness
My beautiful Switzerland, which I love so much, especially in places like this. This is my world, my passion when I can be out in the great outdoors. Everything was perfect on this wonderful morning. The fog lifted just as we arrived at this jewel of the Alps. There was joy and my heart was so happy that I almost forgot to take photos. A wonderful day that couldn't have been more beautiful, also because I was able to go there with my family.

The mountains are like great teachers who teach us to appreciate the little things in life and to be grateful for what we have. The majestic beauty of the mountain peaks reminds us how tiny we are in this vast universe and how important it is to enjoy the precious moments. Another day, another trade show. This is the entrance hallway to the new building at the "Congress Centre".
I really liked the parallel horizontal and vertical lines and the curve on the ceiling and along the left wall (not to mention the cool shadows) so I stopped in the foyer and took a couple of shots.
