The Eiffel Tour has three landings. Because there are often long queues to get from one floor to the next, many tourists elect not to go to the top of the tower. The view from the second floor is as good as from the top level.

Eiffelovka se mi na fotkách a ve filmech nikdy moc nelíbila. Na živo je ale okouzlující. Když se rozsvítí a začne během západu slunce blikat (což dělá každou hodinu), je to jeden z nejhezčích kýčů, co jsem kdy viděl!

The summit was closed at the time we went, so this is from the second floor, about 1/3 of the way up.

Coming to the end of the trip

we had no idea what kind of ceremony was going on here, and the cows just added to the intrigue.
