Macro Monday - Kitchen

This is an abstract of my egg slicer. HMM

Time for salads and picnics - so time for the egg slicer! This one both slices and quarters hard boiled eggs ... a cut above the rest? 😊

For the Crazy Tuesday topic "Kitchen Utensil(s)"

Focussed on a wire of the egg slicer.

I wish you a happy Macro Monday and a great week!

An old fashioned egg slicer, opened up to reveal the wires.

my trusty egg slicer - a great invention!

View as large as possible on a monitor.

I was in two minds whether I should place this one, but it could lead to some interesting observations!

It could be difficult, but past experience has shown that difficult ones sometimes get the most correct hits!

Your correct, wild, imaginative, out of the box and out of this world guesses are being looked forward to. 😁

Post as many guesses as you like!

Please don't delete guesses that you feel might be "wrong", or that other people's ideas might be more correct.

These "wrong" answers are what make this series interesting as I, and others I assume, enjoy figuring out what led to a particular guess.

There are no wrong answers, only interesting ones!

As usual the answer will be posted in a few days' time in the first comment below. Enjoy!

Yellow Egg Slicers

A few thoughts for this Macro Mondays theme of "Wires" but in the end I decided to settle on an egg slicer.

The thing here was to try and concentrate on the wires rather than the egg so focussing closer than 3 inches was necessary.

I did consider the wires inside a toaster but after researching I decided they were bot completely made of metal so we're a no go.

So what can you do with a hard boiled egg - in the egg slcier

Macro Mondays, May 4, 2020: “kitchen”

For Macro Mondays theme: "Tools and Utensils".

HMM!

For "Familiar" I took a close-up of an egg slicer. Love the repetitions of lines and the light.

The fastest, safest and easiest way I have found to slice my breakfast strawberries.

Macro Mondays - In a Row

My first attempt at using extension tubes! A new world to discover :)

Well, this is a disappointment. I was all excited for a Re-ment egg slicer, but it turns out it's a toy. Everything is huge, to show scale I put the egg slices from Happy Kitchen on the left. Look at the difference between the two sets of slices, it's ridiculous. And the Gudetama slices don't even make a whole egg. Not good at all.

Read more about in on my blog My2Penn'orth

Well, of course, you would need to boil the egg and remove its shell before placing it on the egg slicer!!

Stay Safe Everyone!

I was tagged again by Usman aka Quadvision[bokeh dreaming] to write 9 things about me….

So, here goes 9 facts about me:

9. I am under the Timbuktu Witness Protection Program...

(Nah. Not really. But I bet that got your attention, eh?) =P

8. Golgappy(pani porie), Raju k ban kabab,Anda Paratha, icecream, tea and anything with chocolate in it...gets me high

7. I have to drink either tea or coffee before going to bed. The whole feeling of warmth that flows inside me gets me all sleepy and happy.

6. I just got a turtle 2 days back….and I’ve named him bling bling…he’s very shy.

5. I think am sarcastic and lame and weird and I use and a lot!!…. And actually, people around me don't usually expect me to be serious. Or quiet…

4. I get extremely angry (and sick at times) when people wake me up in the middle of my sleep

3. I was the captain of throwball team in school and college as well…one thing I always taught my team was “to aim for the opponents glasses or nose” we never lost a single match !

2. House DIY series, egg slicer

I love the world of Andre Kertesz.

He used something very simple for images of the distortion but it makes me grin at. Really clever.

So I used a different egg slicer and tried my way.

Here is a harp or even a small keyboard in Black and White.

Again it is a part of play of winter sunlight and I had to be patient to get a correct time.

I adjusted contrast and sharpness of the shadow little bit in Aperture.

...nothing like a warm bubble bath on a cold dreary winter day.

to edward weston, who made me buy a second hand egg slicer at the community thrift store.

House DIY series & college project

I have been busy for many things so didn't have a time taking photos outside - hopefully tomorrow.

Here is my another abstraction/distortion project result (again.....). Try to be Andre Kertesz style....!

I need to do a couple different angle shooting, anyway I put one I took today.

It was just one second sunshine after heavy rain, so I was lucky to get shadow. Thanks to my daughter who was my assistant today.

P.S. Guess, what is King G..
