The male figure near the left roof gable, depicts according to local tradition the God Thor, who used to be worshipped here during the viking age. The figure may also represent the norwegian king Olav II Haraldsson (more known as Saint Olav) who some scholars say became a replacement for Thor, after the introduction of christianity.

185 143 at Oxenholme station after completing the 1459 Windermere to Oxenholme First TransPenine service
This photo is from an area called Martha's Butte in Petrified Forest National Park. There are no trails to this area. We used topo maps and hiked cross country to get to our destination. The cool thing about this is that these are "unprotected" petroglyphs. It's unusual to find any that aren't cordoned off from the public.
The still water all over the floor of this abandoned Victorian Asylum gave some great reflections of the windows.

I had no idea that there was a SR-71 Blackbird in Oregon let alone at the evergreen aviation museum. My jaw dropped and excited geekboy gasp type sound came out when I saw it.
