This is my attempt at trying to do textures after a youtube tutorial on the subject. It needs a bit of work but it was fun.

I know this is really odd first time viewers to see this video, I thought it is cool to try this out.

I bought a kit from a craft store for making a cast of my hand.
The mold consists of a material called alginate, which is what dentists use to take molds of people's teeth, and have been using for some time. It is a fluffy dry material that, when mixed with water forms a thick batter that sets into a flexible gel in about 3 minutes. Since it is flexible, a one-piece mold can be made in it that can be filled with a substance that hardens. The mold then is peeled away from the hardened substance, having served for a single-use.
Alginate molds preserve an amazing amount of detail, but both they, and the substances you might use to fill them, can contain air bubbles, which might be a minor problem.
The kit I bought contained alginate, some form of plaster, and a bucket to hold the mold. It cost about $22.
SOOC -- There's a 'Painting' setting on the Sony HX30v (which I believe I set on 'high'). The result reminds me of one of those planning mockups.

Very early version from Gas Pedal. This is the "Dumb Bell" Overdrive. It is a Dumble amplifier simulator. Turn it on, volume knob and a boost feature. Very simple, but comes very close to the "Dumble" Sound.
Here's my latest revision of the pedalboard. I've gotten rid of a few things, and added some others. The Canare GS-6 cables are a somewhat recent addition, and they sound so much better than the old generic Radio Shack interconnects.
Handpainted at Fort Awesome in Portland, Maine by local artist Patrick Corrigan. Each pedal has a different design. Features: switchable 0-300ms, 300 to 600ms, mix knob, decay knob, on/off switch, feedback knob/fs self oscillation switch etc. This will be on our used page later today. Meh! Like to play around sometimes and do a silly shot. This was a shot of a little old school. When edited with the "rotating mirror" effect, warped into what looks like one tiny steeple. Interesting....

The Catholic church of Our Lady in Lillington (now a suburb of Leamington Spa) was opened in 1963 and is quite simply one of the most stunning modern churches I've ever seen.
The building, designed by Henry Fedeski, follows the traditional cruciform plan but with a centrally placed altar at the crossing. However the most outstanding element here is the sheer abundance of (mostly) abstract stained glass, bathing the interior in a magical kaleidoscopic light.
The glass is the work of Dom Charles Norris, heading a team of monks who employed the dalle de verre (slab of glass) technique, wherein thick chunks of coloured glass are set in a concrete matrix. Norris is best known for his work at Buckfast Abbey, though the parish priest here tells me these windows were made at Prinknash.
The entire clerestorey of all four arms of the building consists of this rich abstract glazing. A round window enlivens the entrance facade (liturgically west but the church is actually orientated north to south) whilst the transepts are dominated by huge images of Mary and the Archangel Gabriel respectively (the only figurative elements in the glazing). There are yet further examples of this rich glass in three of the side chapels and annexes at ground level, all in all making a visit to this church an unforgettable experience.
This is a magnificent building which clearly deserves to be better known, there can be few such significant examples of dalle de verre glass in the country. (the church is normally locked outside of services).
