Having killed my previous stomp box I felt the need to go out and get another. I've always liked Zoom gear and the B2 seems like it's got all the features I need. Bloody difficult to have a bash with it tonight though. Everyone went to bed early and one thing you can't do with a bass is be quiet. If only I hadn't trashed my headphones all them years ago....
I started with my photo of the breaker finishing one of his dance moves.
The image on the ground is one i took of two women crawling on the floor for a shoot. i used the polar coordinates on that image and blended it using the various techniques learnt. I used one of the watercolour effects we got in the bonus section and some light renders on it as well as zoom effect. I used topaz to bring in a ghost effect on it and just used some of it. I used another picture i had taken of a band with their lights and used that as at a low opacity to help as extra subtle lighting points through it all. I added a texture layer that i took of a frozen buddle with some stones and applied that as well! Finished with one of the frames from the bonus section

Stepping away from my typical florals, because I finally got out of my own backyard with my camera ;) I created this more abstract piece using several photos, texture overlays and effects. The architectural image is a detail photo I took of the Third Presbyterian Church of Pittsburgh.

I must have been mad but the other guys who missed out wanted to go so I thought what the hell, lets go again and maybe capture something different. So thats what I did today.
A real time capsule but nature is taking back a lot of the rooms with full on decay and collapsed floors. Not to mention a shotgun wielding farmer and a bull roaming the enclosure to make matters worse. No chase today - bull was curiously watching us run away but did not decide to pursue.

Since I use a lot of textures, I decided to start doing some of my own. Feel free to use them, but please link back to me if you do. Thanks!
SOOC -- There's a 'Painting' setting on the Sony HX30v (which I believe I set on 'high'). The result reminds me of one of those planning mockups.

Here's my latest revision of the pedalboard. I've gotten rid of a few things, and added some others. The Canare GS-6 cables are a somewhat recent addition, and they sound so much better than the old generic Radio Shack interconnects.
Handpainted at Fort Awesome in Portland, Maine by local artist Patrick Corrigan. Each pedal has a different design. Features: switchable 0-300ms, 300 to 600ms, mix knob, decay knob, on/off switch, feedback knob/fs self oscillation switch etc. This will be on our used page later today.
