A few weeks ago I ate some bloody delicious wontons but they were frightfully expensive at £18 for 16 dumplings. I decided to make my own instead.

The two secret ingredients being M&S OBE sausage meat and pulverised ginger and coriander oil. The £10 worth of ingredients yielded 38 dumplings. And I might add that these wontons were fantastic!

Rode for miles to build up an appetite for an unorthodox Sunday roast.

Evesham asparagus, burrata, pistachios and golden raisins.

Brixham John Dory, smoked eel cream, trout roe and celeriac.

Roast sides. (I know it's weird having Yorkshire and the trimmings with the fish. I insisted because I needed the carbs to ride back home.)

Carafe of Côtes de Gascogne Blanc ‘20.

Sunday roast at one of my locals. I’ve had a lot of roast chicken dinners in my life, the one @theporchesterpub is consistently excellent and we’re not even talking about the provenance like the use of some fancy-pants French poultry.

Good pub pinot noir and pinta cider.

I’m not terribly good with carbs or veg.
