Educators from our partner museums got together on Monday Jan 24 2011 to learn about teaching Nanotechnogy from each other. Aaron and Keith from NISENet as wall as Inka and Gled from UALR were there as well.
Educators from across the state flew into the Delaware National Guard's River Road Training Site on Thursday, May 7, 2015 and Friday, May 8, 2015. They started their experience with a ride in a UH-60 Blackhawk. Once at River Road, they were trained on the Engagement Skills Trainer and the Virtual Convoy Operations Trainer. The rounded out the day with briefings on the benefits of joining the National Guard. The day long experience is designed to give educators a look inside the Delaware National Guard so they can pass that information on to their students who are interested in a military career. The Arkansas Agriculture Hall of Fame inducted five individuals March 1 whose leadership and service have brought distinction to the state's largest business sector in Little Rock. Class 32 inductees include retired University of Arkansas educator Dr. L.B. (Bernie) Dnaiels of Fayetteville; Dr. Ed Fryar of Roers, the founder of Ozark Mountain Poultry; UA professor Dr. Donna Graham of Fayetteville; UA distinguished professor Dr. Terry Siebenmorgen of Fayetteville; and David Walt of Dumas, a retired soybean farmer.
