Hahahah see what I did there?
The past 5 years have been a whirlwind of events. First, the biggest, was the World Skills Festival. Or Was it IAMDA US and UK? Can't remember. One or the other. Then it was BETT four years in a row, MCM, EGX, The Gadget Show, Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the Year, Teentech, The Royal Academy, The Barbican, Magic Summer and a good few I think I've forgotten. I've organised, mostly on my own, a lot of touch screen art happenings in a lot of places. It's been fab.
On my own? Never. The organising maybe, but the stars of the shows are the students who work nearly tirelessly and nearly uncomplainingly :) For 12 hour days, often, when travel is taken into account. And they're fab. Fab to work with.
So I try and make a montage picture to show off what we're doing. This year? OH BOY time is against me, but still there was time for this. Drawn by my students; the LSCC Secret Draws mural. Drawn by a LOT of students, collated on Photoshop.
If you're at LSCC come say hi. We've got a small ish stand (OBLIMES how big???) and we'll be drawing on touch screen, teaching drawing on touch screen and a few other cool things beside.
Seriously: it'll be awesome.

Look, Spencer! They are walking in the woods, wandering in the garden, sitting under the pine trees . . . creating, creating, creating!" -Katrina Trask, to her husband, Spencer
